For me, they are not very pretty as I still retain my love of the unlined lacey undergarments of my youth. Also they always run tight in the band so if you don't want that real tightness, make sure you account for that in sizing. I found the cup size was true to size.If you are looking mostly for support, this is the bra for you. I prefer the profile it gives me, and it makes my clothing drape better on my body.
