Was skeptical when I ordered, but it works great! No signal unless the case is opened and the fob is pulled out. Love the design, it appears well-made and it's the perfect size. With the claw hook on the outside I can hang it on the outside of my purse. With the purse in the picture that had a ring, I attached it onto it. The hook resting against the purse in the picture is what I use for purses with no attached hook and hang it on the purse strap. Being outside my purse makes it easier to have the fob accessible to lock and unlock my car doors. As you can see from the picture, attached inside is a key chain/ring to attach to the car fob so it can be easily and securely pulled out to lock and unlock and while driving the car. Extra bonus was getting 2 for a great price!

Never realized that keyfobs today continually give off a signal. Saw a news story a man bought a new truck drove home from the dealership. He parked the truck in front of his house locked it and went in. With in seconds, another guy comes by and cloes the key fob with his cell phone. Unlocks the truck starts it and he was off. All with in 30 seconds. Thsi was all captured on a neighbors camera. I now put my fob in this pouch everytime I get out of my truck.

After delivery we tested the effectivenes of this product against our two cars. With the FOB securely in the pouch there was NO response from either vehicle when trying to unlock/lock the doors or starting the engine. Since some automobile manufacturers have built key fobs to transmit their key code continuously so that you can access the car and start the engine without removing the fob from packet or purse (as a matter of covenience) that means that thieves can traverse neighborhoods with monitoring equipment cheap and readily available to record applicable fob codes to be used to steal cars right from driveways or offices up to a distance of about 300 ft. Once empowered with the code copy they enter, start, and drive off your car, never to be seen again, often shipped to other countries. By storing your fob in this pouch you will foil theives. To test if your car is suseptible to this type of car jacking lock the car with the fob, place it in a pocket or purse, then pull on the door handle. A belated review but I've been using this key case for at least 12 months now without an issue. In fact, I got rid of my wallet and just store a few cards and some cash in this case now, as well as the keys. Much easier to carry around one thing rather than two. Quality is good (no fraying or anything yet) and the faraday shielding works well when the key is tucked in the back pocket.
