This is a high quality bag, built to last. I am so impressed by this bag.
Leather. High quality leather. BUT, what impressed me most, was that the STRAPS are also SEWN. So if you are using this bag as I am, to take my laptop/work stuff to work, it's heavy. If the straps were just leather, they would stretch under the weight after a while of using. Whoever designed this bag made sure the straps also had a sewn element to support the leather.Honestly, this is probably the best leather bag I own. Also, it's GORGEOUS so you can use it for daily use. I use it for bringing loads of craft projects to my weekly craft groups. And it has TONS of pockets and storage. For this price, this is an AMAZING deal. This is the last bag you will ever need. For work or life. I am SO IMPRESSED and happy with this bag.

Well worth it
I originally bought this bag over two years ago. My daughter wanted a work bag and asked for the same one I had (same color even). I included The original bag in the photo. It’s the one with the green hair tie. I want to start out saying I am ROUGH on my bag. I don’t hang it up or baby it and I use it every day. As you can see, there is some color differences between the new bag and the old bag. It does show scratches, but when I actually clean it, they do buff out about 80%, but not completely. Doesn’t bug me at all. I figure it comes with me purchasing leather and treating it like a work bag. All the inner pockets have no holes, all the zippers work, straps are well made and are strong. Honestly, if you cleaned it and maintained it how you’re supposed to treat leather it probably look fairly similar To the original. BUT The first time I cleaned it, I did notice some of the color coming off so it most likely will fade. The color did not transfer onto any of my clothes or my car or carpet or wall or countertops, or anywhere that I throw it. It is a great bag and well worth the money. As you can see, I definitely bought it again.

Mary Poppins Bag- perfect
Perfect for school or commuting/daytrips. It fits my MacBook Pro (14” + protective number case), notebooks, textbooks, water bottle, umbrella, pocket valve mask, small first aid kit, hairbrush, full-size wallet, flashlight, mace, extra socks/shirt and snack. The canvas reinforcement prevents strap wear and provides great grip to keep that heavy sucker from sliding off my shoulder and the strap drop is perfect. The middle zip pocket is ideal for personal items to stay safe even when it’s over-stuffed with campus essentials, the outer flap pocket provides easy access to lanyard and calculator when needed. Inner side pockets are the perfect size to quickly access cellphone, pens, and a mini-notebook. Also works well as a big purse for day trips with the kids (water bottles, extra clothes, snacks, wipes, etc. it would also make a great diaper bag.My favorite part is that it’s attractive without having a brand name emblazoned across the bag. I refuse to pay to advertise for a company. Overall a sturdy, well-constructed and timeless tote.

Looks good but examination reveals cut corners.
I'm a little surprised at all the 5 star reviews. At a price point of 100ish dollars I have some significant cons. With smart shopping at outlets you can get a Kate Spade or a Coach leather tote for about this price and this is nowhere near as nice a product.Pros:It is real leather and with that thick saddle-esque patina that attracted me. The looks are great. The hardware is nice heavy brass. The organization with the various pockets is well thought out.The strap on the front closes with a magnetic snap so much more accessible than the buckle.Nice feet on the bottomIt doesn't have a hidden luggage strap in the back zip. It's why I'm keeping it.But there are significant cons:All of the straps are leather one one side and cotton webbing on the other. Feels cheap and makes me worry about tearing. A quality bag would have two layers of leather stitched. The interior pockets and lining are not a canvas or a weighty nylon as I am used to. They seem like almost like that papery feeling stuff that shoes come wrapped in? Also worried about tears here. It's not nearly as spacious as I expected. Computer, cord, mouse, small make up bag and small notebook and it is full. I could jam more stuff in (and will have to to get my cup in) but much more will certainly ruin the lines of the purse. To pack it flat it was creased along the back and even full it wants to collapse there.I had to rub it down with leather conditioner as it was covered in a loose powder.I'm going to keep it as I do like the look for this fall but it's not a steal or anything and I am worried that it will not last. Next time I'll dive deeper into outlet sites and sales.

Attractive and Good Value
The leather is thick and sturdy and looks vintage. It marks easily, but that adds to the vintage look. I like that it stands up and holds its shape. It’s big enough for a laptop but isn’t overly large for carrying as a purse. I really like the large pocket in front. It has a magnetic clasp. I use it for my two sons’ large iPhones which I use to keep them entertained while out and about. The bag came dark brown but a full shade lighter than the pics. It still looks attractive and in the same shade family, so I’ve been using it and am pleased with it. I didn’t have any color transfer to my clothes as the manufacturer warned, but I haven’t been wearing a lot of white either. I feel like the handles will hold up which is a weak point for bags usually.
