God Gave Us Angels: A Picture Book (God Gave Us Series)

I bought this book to help my eldest child understand what Angels are and what they do. I am very impressed with the presentation of what Angels are in this book! I cannot find one single fault in this book - not one! This is a beloved book of my 2 year old as well as my eldest... the 2 year old is the one who always gets it down off the shelf. Definitely a family favorite!

I love these books! I bought 3 in the same series. So beautiful for little ones to learn about our great amazing God and his love for us! Highly recommend!

Good book with beautiful pictures of Bear angels! However, it is definitely geared towards those with a specific set of religious beliefs. We believe in God and angels, so I thought this book would be perfect for our child who has been asking a lot of questions lately. However, there are a couple parts that I personally dislike. One is when Little Cub asks Papa Bear if we should pray to angels and Papa Bear explains that we should only pray to God. I understand this belief, but my child loves talking to the angels and praying to them. For this reason, I always tweak Papa Bear's response. The other part is when Little Cub asks if they will become angels when when they die and Papa Bear says no. In my family, we believe that it is possible for those who pass on to become angels. We always change the "nope" to a "yes" when reading that page. As stated above, it's a good book ... but it's written according to the author's specific beliefs. It's not just another cute book that speaks in general terms about loving God and angels. This is great for some families, but definitely doesn't appeal to everyone.

Lovely book - gift well received

Found this book series when I was pregnant. For a children's book it's beautifully illustrated. And sometimes as parents you don't know how to answer your children's questions, and with this book series it does help you with that.
