Q: Would this work on velvet jewelry bags?

I used it on some can Koozies and it worked perfectly.

Q: Is this 10" wide or 1.12 " wide?

Not sure what the options in 2017 were for sizes but today in 2022 it's three options to choose from. Two show 0.8 feet which is the 10" width. So 10" x 5' or 10" x 12' which is shown however as 0.8 x 5' and 0.8 x 12'. However there is a third option to select which is 12" x 5' or Twelve inches wide by five feeet. So you can select below the bullet points and title area if you want 10 inches wide or 12 inches wide by 5 feet long rolls. But also you can select 10 inches by 12 feet as a third option. Hope this helps others who didn't grasp what the 0.8' means in measurements. It basically is 10 inches and of couse 1' is one foot pretty standard but the fraction of 1 foot in this case is 0.8.
