This Rockville RPB55 Large portable speaker is truly an excellent speaker in all aspects. I'm a musician who knows and appreciates quality sounding speakers. Depending, of course, how low the battery is.Please Note: when you charge this speaker there is a super tiny red dot light that comes on just to the left of the on off button. When fully charged the light goes out.There is a quality feel to this speaker and it is moderately heavy, which means some beefy speakers. Nothing light and cheap here.I enjoy classical music, pop music, and country music. This speaker sounds excellent in all three of these music styles. Country music tends to have a lot of mid range and lows, classical music tends to be mid range and highs, while pop music can be "all the above." And this speaker sounds simply fantastic in all three music styles I just listed. This speaker is a bluetooth 5 speaker and it connects to my phone, via bluetooth, with no issues whatsoever. I also love the ability to play my mp3 music songs from a USB stick or a micro SB card plugged into this speaker. Plus you can bring songs into this speaker using a mini stereo plugin cable. The company that makes this speaker says you can charge a smart phone phones from this speaker's battery. I haven't tried that yet. But this speaker's battery is very robust and can play music for 4 hours + on one full battery charge. I love this speaker so much I ordered a second one as a gift to a friend.

Review for the black XL. I'm pleasantly surprised that the sound quality from this bluetooth speaker is not terrible, the way they usually are. It has decent mid range, and the bass is not way over-boosted. I didn't feel the need to immediately apply any equalizer adjustments to fix it, which is good. It does annoyingly say "pairing" when it powers up with a recorded voice, and then again when shutting down. That is not nice, it should be silent. Particularly when powering off automatically due to lack of use, it's very disruptive to have it say something. Initial setup was easy, the handle is nice to carry. It's loud enough for a bedroom, any louder than that and the sound quality starts to suffer. Overall, it exceeds expectations.

It is considerably smaller than I had expected. I thought it would compare to the JBL Boombox but it's much smaller and although the sound quality is good, the sound level leaves a lot to be desired compared to the JBL but in all fairness it's a third of the price, proving again you get what you pay for. I do recommend it for anyone wanting a smaller bluetooth speaker that's easy to carry and battery life has been very impressive so far.

I don't write reviews, but i had to for this Rockville Sonic-XXL.I love me some bass and a really good price , Rockville checked my most important boxes.I watched a few YouTube Reviews about the smaller version" XL" and i was impressed, but couldn't resist XXL.

The media could not be loaded.  Literally just received it and it’s ready to go. Quality sound and really happy with what I hear. Bass is on point. Packaging is immaculate and precise. I can’t comment on the battery life as of now. Will follow up with a review on the battery life. Bluetooth connectivity is optimal, absolutely no issues whatsoever. I will definitely purchase another one for myself since this one is for my wife as Mother’s Day gift.

I really like this speaker and was surprised at how loud it gets. My only complaint is the bass is a bit vibrationy....but it can be changed via your phone's sound settings. Definitely worth the money I love it!

All around great Bluetooth speaker with some quirks. I bought this to play music primarily from a thumb drive and it works flawlessly in the no cell phone work environment. I listen to techno, specifically Goa-Psy, which I found is particularly rough on battery powered electronics in the past. At full volume I can hear the music clearly above the work noise and the battery will last about six hours. At home, not having to overcome 80 db industrial machines, the battery will last easily 24 hours playing off a usb drive.As for the quirks, they don't mention the thumb drive must formated FAT32 or ExFAT to read. I can use this a battery bank to charge some of my phone battery, but have to trick the unit to stay on by pluging the aux mini headphone jack. At full volume, the speaker will walk itself off of a table.

Muy buen sonido 👌, compite con las grandes marcas e incluso es mejor que algunas. Por el precio es una gran opción, el volumen máximo es adecuado, lo que se espera en un producto de este precio. El sonido sin entrar a tantos detalles, es bastante bueno. La batería es uno de sus fuertes, la he tenido a 80% de potencia durante 10 horas y aún le quedó la mitad de carga.
