I love a good cocktail and I especially like to learn to make them at home myself. So when I saw this cocktail muddler was available at a discount to test and review, I decided to try it out. I received this in 2 short days with Amazon Prime and had no issues with shipping. I just wish it had come in a box, so if I wanted to gift it, it would look nice. I was very excited to make a mojito with this and it did the job great! I am very impressed with this muddler. A muddler is a bartender's tool, used like a pestle to mash—or muddle—fruits, herbs, and/or spices in the bottom of a glass to release their flavor. Cocktails that require the use of a muddler include: Mojito made with light rum. The muddler is constructed well; it has a stainless steel handle and a nice nylon head that has a bumpy texture. The muddler easily crushes fruits and veggies to the perfect size and texture, getting them ready for drinks and also special dishes and deserts that require a muddled fruit. Muddling fruit allows for the full flavors to come through in a way that cutting just can't do. The muddler was more durable than my other one since mashing up fruits/herbs it provided a blast of freshness and aroma without having the ingredients splatter at your face or the herbs being smoosh to a point where it wouldn't smell that great anymore. The fork end of the stir utensil is nicely designed, although small too. Sharp enough to stab at cherries, or any other garnish you will need to add to your cocktails.

I love this set.I was able to crush up mint perfectly for my mojitos the other night and the super long stir mixed my concoctions perfectly. This stainless steel set is must have for those at home who enjoy making your own concoctions. It is super easy to clean and extremely handy to use when making and miking drinks. The muddler having a rubber end doesn't scratch the glass it is in and muddles up the mint leaves perfectly so that they have squeezed out some of that fresh mint flavor! i honestly could not be happier with this purchase and set that works in sync together for helping me make my drinks! I received this product at a discount for my unbiased review.
