Zevro Indispensable 1/2-Pound-Capacity Coffee Dispenser, Black

This is my 2nd Zervo dispenser. The 1st I got about 4 years ago on a close-out at one of those boutique high-end kitchenware places. For $5 I couldn't pass it up. No instructions or box. Oh well,Fast forward to 2021, and the thing starts getting stuck and not dispensing correctly. I take it apart, kinda figure it out, then I find instructions on-line, and put it back together. That same night I run into problems again. This time when I take it apart I find that the trigger handle, made of plastic, had broken at the pivot point and was the problem. Not fixable because of the amount of force applied to spin the wheel that contains the coffee shots.So I have the new one and it's working like a charm. It measures consistently, so once you find your magic formula of water to coffee ratio, you can practically make coffee in your sleep, like I do so often!But that would be my only suggestion to the manufacturer: make the trigger handle of some light metal. Had I known the company offers a lifetime guarantee on this, I would have sent my original one in for an exchange. But I believe the price is commiserate with the product.Nice European tech appearance, holds quite a bit of coffee, very easy to maintain. Get it!

The media could not be loaded. I really love this. It measures out the perfect amount, it’s fun to use and looks cool! And it’s not messy the way I always used to spill a little and got coffee grounds on my hand. So glad I found it a few months ago, I just refilled it and it reminded me to review! Thank you!! Great function .. I use it for both sugar and milk powder dispensing. 95% dependable first time dispensing. Sometimes the powder doesn’t fully dispense, however a simple knock or a second squeeze on the trigger completes the job… my problem is that when you say chrome.. send chrome !! Flat grey is not visually appealing.. and doesn’t present well. So not happy.

I bought 2, I bought the first one and loved it! Perfectly measured each time! It was very convenient! Then the handle that you ‘squeeze’ broke-up inside the canister-I took it apart and tried to fix it but it was a a plastic piece that could not be fixed. I ordered a replacement-thinking maybe it was just a one in a million stress fracture. The second one did not last nearly as long before it too broke! I paid full price on both-no sales or specials-$29.99 EACH! Plus tax! NOW they are on sale, but I am not wealthy, and I don’t have a lot of ‘disposable Income’! I think $60 is a pretty expensive lesson learned! I’m disappointed, because it is a really smart gadget! I can’t find anything even similar, which is crazy! With SLK of the technology we have today no one can invent a ‘pre measured’ gadget for dispensing powder or granulated ingredients?

This is exactly the same as a unit I had, used and loved for many years -- and when it came time to replace it the original brand had been discontinued. I was so relieved to find this -- it's the only coffee dispenser I've seen. Yes I will agree that it does leak a little bit of coffee, but I didn't find that to be enough to take a star away -- if you give it a little shake when it's still over whatever you filled that will help. So you need to be prepared to wipe up a few coffee grounds, but not so much more than just dispensing coffee from the original can. I love that this unit releases exact measures and holds enough coffee to not have to refill it all the time. It makes storage and use really easy and it also looks good.

My husband absolutely loves this as he sets the coffee machine up every night. It is literally used every day. First one I purchased lasted close to two years. The second one--I just ordered late in 2023, so not even a full year of use. Both broke in same way in a problem with the clicker/handle. He tried to fix it, but he couldn't (happy for him to read another similar review - he wasn't the only one unable to repair it!).So as I came here to order my third and final one, told the hubby after this one, it's back to scooping out of a cannister! Thought I'd share because I cannot find a similar product anywhere and figured it might be helpful for others to know; either look at it as 'disposable' or don't get 'hooked' on it as a tool in the first place.

This is the second one I've purchased for my step-dad (the first one was from The Container Store). He used the first one until it wore out (about 4-5 years), and asked for another.He's organized and like gadgets. He drinks coffee daily, so this product was a great gift for him.Since it was a gift, I can't say I've used it myself, but he clearly loves it, since he asked for another, and I've seen him use it on visits. He doesn't have patience for things that don't work correctly or as promised, so I am confident this product works well!My step-dad is difficult to find gifts for, which makes this product extra special, as a useful and stylish gift for people who like coffee.
