A very versatile set of 20 wooden hearts, these arrive in 2 separate resealable cellophane bags each containing 10 hearts and 10 pre-cut lengths of natural twine all within a ziploc storage bag.As they're made from light coloured wood, they do have very slight variations with the odd one appearing a little more yellowish in tone. The outer edges of the hearts are all in a contrasting darker finish. They measure 10x10cm/4x4" - a good size which really increases the wide range of possible applications. There's a small heart shaped aperture at the top of each heart for threading the string through - nice attention to detail.I looked through all 20 of the hearts I received and only found one where there was a very slight imperfection to the wood - no problem, I'll simply use it as a gift tag and write on the other side. None had any splinters but it may be worth checking them over if giving them to young children to decorate.I like the quality and size of these hearts. There really are so many things that could be done with them from special gift tags to little personalised message plaques or Christmas tree decorations. The surfaces are very smooth to write, draw or paint on. I'm looking forward to having some fun with these.

These wooden hearts are really lovely - Each heart measures 10cm by 10cm and is decorated with a tiny cut out heart detail as shown in my photo. These are ideal for home crafting, and could be used with vinyl printing or wood engraving to bear a message of love. Equally, you could paint or decorate these to make a unique gift, or use them as decorations for celebrations - they would look lovely strung in a banner. These are supplied in a pack of 20 along with some natural yarn for hanging. The hearts are quite thin which makes them lightweight and easy to handle, and mine had smooth edges so would be suitable for children to use. This set is priced at £9.99 and currently on Amazon offer at £8.99, which I feel offers very good value for the amount and size of the hearts included. Really lovely little set.

These are much bugger than I thought they'd be but I'm really pleased!I make hampers at Christmas and I think these will make perfect tags. With them being bigger it means I can write extra bits on the back as well as a Christmas message.They are relatively thin but feel robust enough that they don't snap easily at all. Each one also has twine supplied with it.I can see these being perfect to make Christmas decorations with children or just to keep them occupied making them look pretty for someone they care about. They could even be used for tags for valentines gifts. There's so much you can do with them.I think for just shy of £9 for 20 hearts they're good value and I look forward to adding them to my hampers this year!

These hearts are really nice quality. They are thin and light but don’t feel flimsy. The edges are black like they have been burnt when cut. Most of the edges were smooth, there were a few bits with small splinter pieces but nothing much. I really liked that the small hole for handing the heart is actually a heart itself. It comes with some precut rope/twine but I think I’m going to use ribbon instead. I got these for my sons to decorate as decorations for the tree at Christmas to give to relatives, and for that they are possibly slightly too large but will give a nice size for them to be able to decorate and write a message on the other side. Very happy.

These wooden heart shapes were larger than expected. I haven’t used them yet but I’ve no doubt I willThey are good quality and lightweight.

This is a pack of 20, decent thickness of 3mm plywood, heart shapes with heart cut out at top and includes some rope for hanging but there are, unfortunately, a few flaws to mention – most of the wood edges are smooth but some of mine still had some cuts that hadn’t fully gone through.I get that they are ‘natural unfinished’ and that wood grain changes but some of the wood finishes are a little bit scratched & I even had a couple with splintered edges. I sanded down the few that had issues and they’re fine to work with now but it's a let down.I love how my design settled into the wood - A good thickness and they’re a good size to work with when designing and I do like them just had to drop a star based on overall quality.
