Be sure to use heating element wire for connections!!
These are great for a cat or dog house. Just be aware that they get very hot and require a porcelain socket, high temperature heating element wire and porcelain wire nuts to make your connections. I tried using regular wire and found the bulbs turned the insulation to carbon in a matter of months, thus creating an incredible fire hazard. Be safe and use the right materials. There is no way I would use one of these in a bathroom heater socket made for a standard heat lamp--they get far too hot.

Finally was able to get a 150 ceramic heater in that wasn’t broken! Works great! Thank you for wonderful packaging and product!!

Good CHE, but one shipped with a chip in ceramic.
They seem to work well. I have been using one of them for a week for the tortoise enclosure and it keeps the temperature perfect. I took off one star because in the 2-pack, one has a chip in the ceramic. Amazon took care of this because it is not safe to use with the chip, so it will be tossed. The package was not damaged, so it must have been shipped like this.

Works as advertised
These little ceramic heaters keeps one side of our bearded dragon’s home at a beautiful 100°F overnight all while allowing my daughter to sleep! They do however draw a little more power than 75watts but I assume they are still wearing in. Highly recommend!

Bought this 150w pack for my 120 gallon ball python enclosure. It has ZERO light but puts off lots of heat. All heat sources should be plugged into a thermostat and this is no different. Definitely recommend.

Works great
Bought for my bearded dragon due to him needing a light that only produces heat for night time! Works amazing, gets super hot but stay hot through out the night!
