I didn’t have existing doorbell wiring for my Blue by ADT doorbell camera. This was plug and play. It worked fine on the first try. I can’t speak for other brands of doorbell but it worked great for my Blue by ADT. I liked the extra long wiring so I did not have to worry about length. Quality seems good. You may need a wire stripper because they don’t leave a lot exposed copper on the ends but I already have one so no problem.

Somebody says it doesn't charge. Anyway it works great with mine. I haven't charged my Nest doorbell for months (previously I have to charge it about every 10 days).

Used it to power my Wyze video doorbell. Easy to install. My house didnt have an existing doorbell, and last owner installed a wireless one. Used this item to power the doorbell and has worked as advertised. Would buy it again and would recomend. There's plenty of cable too, I had to cut mine shorter because i had a wall outlet right by the front door. Make sure to use electric tape.

Upon receiving this I did not have time to install it right away since I did mot have an existing hole for the wiring, after about 30 days or so I was able to install it and come to find out it did not work, I would not recommend this product, the only good thing about this is the length of wire given but guess that don't matter if it fails to supply power to your ring.
