We love these plates for our toddler! They are very sturdy and easy to clean. Dishwasher safe too. There’s no suction, but our child is old enough that it hasn’t been an issue. The colors are as pictured. If you use a knife on it, it will leave scratch marks so be aware of that!

These are perfect! *UPDATE: I have been using these for about 6 months now. After having these I will never buy anything else for toddlers and preschoolers! They are made from recycled material which is great and a point in the eco-friendly favor. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe and BPA free! Since my first purchase of these I have purchased more! These can be found at retail stores as well for the same price but I have found that amazon seems to have the best variety of colors. The colors may not be important to you but you are going to want more once you start using these and it is fun to have lots of colors. I also tend to like to have the plate contrast with the food so that it is more appealing to the little one rather than having it all blend together and look boring. Whatever works to get that kiddo to sit down and eat all that yummy food you are cooking right? These have nice, deep sections to make it easier for little ones to eat their food without dumping half of it over the side and the plates themselves are very nice and thick. They do not bend at all. I have not seen any damage from the dishwasher or microwave so far. However, I will suggest not cutting food on them with a sharp knife...I know, that seems obvious. However, we do have one that has some knife marks on the large section from *someone* cutting chicken with a steak knife on the plate. I will continue to purchase these as I need them and would definitely suggest these to anyone with young kids!

Great for toddlers and older children. I have ordered 3 sets , so far, at different times. The grandkids keep coming. They wash well in dishwasher. I am very happy with the quality.

We've purchased different products from Re-Play before, and are equally impressed with these plates! The plastic is very strong and thick. The depth makes it possible to serve more liquid foods without worrying about spillage. You can fit plenty of food in each section, and they clean easily! The colors also were accurate to what I saw on my screen. We have a 5 yo, 3 yo, and 20 mo and they work great for all of them! Great purchase!

These are great plates. I really like them for my grandson when he comes to visit. I wish they were soft silicone because these slid around too easily. If your kid is younger, they can knock it off the table easily. They wash really nicely in the dishwasher and retain their shape well

We love these for our kids and have ordered them in a variety of colors! They're easy to stack, dishwasher safe, and durable. We did replace some of ours after about a year because they were starting to show wear and tear, but that's to be expected after daily use. They do not come out of the dishwasher smelling like soap. Easy to keep food groups separated per kid preferences, and easy for our 3 and 5 year old to carry to the dishwasher themselves without spilling. We also like the silicon stretchy lids that fit over the top when we prep their meals ahead of time. These hold a ton of food as well, more than a small kid could eat in a sitting.

I like that all of the re-play items are recycled items. I love the bright colors and the fact that they are gender neutral. However, I noticed that it requires a lot of soap to remove any greasy residue from ordinary foods (cheese, chicken, etc.) Not that much of an issue, but a good swipe of dish soap doesn't cut it. It really requires a good scrubbing. Just a little heads up. ****UPDATED 8/26/14 **** So after almost a year, these plates are still great. These are virtually indestructible and I'd say for the price of stainless steel plates, this is the much better deal. They have a few scratches on them where my kid has tried to jam her fork into the plates or where I used a knife to cut up her food, but it's only noticeable to me because I'm looking. The colors have not faded one iota. There are no cracks in them with all the banging, throwing, and pretend play these get in addition to daily meal use. When compared to melamine plates, these are far superior. Melamine plates cannot be microwaved (neither can these replay dishes), and crack if you drop them hard enough (my toddler would accomplish this in no time) and is prone to discoloration. I would know, because I have a bunch of them that I no longer use. I take these out to picnics, restaurants, friends houses ..... they're light enough to shove into my diaper bag. My only hang up has not changed since my first review. It requires multiple passes to get it squeaky clean. If I wash it with soap once, I can still feel a greasy residue. So now I wash it with soap and rinse it, leave it in the sink while I soap up other dishes, soap it up again and then rinse them out. Yes, it's double the work, but really, one more go at it doesn't really bother me considering it's other good points.

I've had these for over a year and still use them every day! Great for my toddler who does not want his food touching... and the edges are rounded enough for the other one who wants to scoop everything together. These are hard plastic so they survive repeated throws onto the floor. And they are very easy to clean, but last longer if you clean by hand vs. in the dishwasher. Tips: don't put spaghetti sauce on the white plate because it will definitely stain, but I appreciate having the black plate in this pack to hide the red stuff. And don't microwave anything too saucy on here. We reheated some sweet & sour chicken and the sauce started boiling in one spot, which ate away at the plate. Besides that, these are great!!

These are great sturdy plates. I was gifted some for our daughter and when we needed more plates when he sister was ready big big kid plates I knew I wanted more of these plates. Love them!

After one wash in the dishwasher, one of the plates has plastic melting textures. Its no longer even

I am a home daycare provider and mother of two children under 5. These dishes are such high quality, sturdy and durable for children use. They have a perfect portion size in the three sections. They wash easily by hand except food sometime get stuck on them if I use our dish washer. If I place them next to one another. But that's something we've learned to manipulate on our end. They are beautiful and bright and I just love that I can give each child their own colour dish. Thank you re-play for making such a great product.
