NOT waterproof
First, the sound quality was great and the microphone worked great when I was using with my phone. HOWEVER, the instructions included with the product gave me pause when I noticed they said you could indeed swim with them, but if your head goes underwater, they won't stay connected to your source of music. Turned out to be true. Very disappointing for a product that is advertised as "Waterproof Swimming Earbuds". Also, they don't stay in your ears when you are swimming. They stayed in for about 70 meters then fell out. over and over again. Then, after my swim, they stopped working. They disconnected from my music source (my phone) and won't reconnect. They make strange static sounds when I try to reconnect them and then they fail to connect. So needless to say, I'm very dissatisfied with the performance of these "Waterproof Swimming Earbuds". They completely failed to live up to the initial advertising.

Waterproof yes, swimming no
Excellent great value for money earbuds, tried them for a pool swim the minute they fully submerged Bluetooth doesn't work under water. But they work even after being fully submerged. Great for cycling and running for the price and quality no complaints.

incredible water proof product
At $49 I was reluctant to purchase, but after hip surgery I doo aqua running and swimming as physical therapy. I used the recently purchased IP68 and they were phenomenal. I was 10 to 30 feet form my phone during the workout and the sound quality is better than my airpods. I also dropped one into the water and was relieved to find it had no impact. I paired with my apple watch, but Bluetooth doesn't work underwater, it does pair out of water, but I have several other to use for that. Over all satisfaction 10 out 10.

Great for shower... For about 6 to 8 months. Then they start to malfunction.
I've bought a set of these earbuds twice. The second pair I bought was almost a year later. The reason I bought them twice was because they are good earbuds: They fit great in my ears, they block out outside sound, and they do stay connected to my phone through pretty long distances. They have great sound quality and I love the push button on them instead of many of these types of earbuds that have sensors on them that respond to touch. Those sensors are very sensitive and make listening to anything extremely difficult. Especially near water. Any kind of water touches the earbuds that claim to be waterproof and for use in swimming but have touch sensors are absolute garbage. Even if they're a good earbud they don't work because every time any little splash of water touches them they either pause playback or try to initiate some other kind of command. These ones don't do that. Because of the button you actually have to push to do something if water hits them it doesn't matter, which is great! The only problem is it's almost as if these are only waterproof for a while. After wearing them for about 6 to 8 months I usually lose sound in one or the other. It starts as the level of volume diminishing. No matter how loud I make it one of them starts getting quiet. Then after it gets quiet eventually that one just stops working all together. It's like the water eventually starts to get in and mess them up. I'm not exactly sure if that's what's happening but that's my guess. They're great in the shower. I've never taken them swimming and I see other reviews saying that they don't work for swimming. The ad might have been different here on Amazon in the past but it does say in their description of the product that it works for swimming but that it will lose connectivity underwater. So I didn't have any expectation of it working while my head was underwater in a pool. However, I use them everyday in the shower and they are phenomenal for that use. But like I said, it seems that they're not completely waterproof and that eventually the water will ruin them. At $70, I find myself struggling with the idea of having to buy a new set once a year. I've looked elsewhere trying to find other earbuds that will do this same job but not end up getting damaged by the water over time and have found some that claim to be specifically for underwater swimming. I was super excited to get those because if they were for underwater swimming they must be okay for standing in a shower. However, they had the touch sensors and I am currently getting ready to report them to the Federal trade commission because they refuse to refund my purchase even though when I tell them they don't work if water touches them they basically say that's not their problem. These folks seem to have a good product they just need to work on the longevity of it.
