Purchased (3) sets of these handles to add to the outdoor playground I've been building for my daughter. While there were a lot of choices when it came to these handles, these seemed to have gotten the best overall reviews. With that said, I gave them a chance, and i'm glad I did. These handles arrived very quickly and were adequately packaged. Upon opening, I could immediately tell that these were quality, solid plastic handles (fitting for young children). The yellow color keeps these handles cool in the sun even after being exposed all day. Very easy, and quick, to install. Immediately adds an additional level of functionality and safety to any outdoor swing set. I used one set for a slide bar (mounted horizontal across the top of slide), and the other two sets for the additional access points (top of climbing wall and deck ladder). For the price and quality, these handles would be hard to beat. The kids love 'em, and I feel comfortable knowing that they can hold my full weight with no issues. Best of all, they're splinter savers. Overall, i'm very happy with this product.

Good quality and it works great for a wood swingset

Recently added monkey bars to my standing place Sette for my kids. Needed some handles to add above the steps to provide extra safety. These provided just that. Easy to install and very sturdy. The grips work very well and my daughters have no issue.

These are AWESOME. I had been looking something to secure into the floor at the top of my attic stairs - they are steep and have just a small wooden side rail. I've always felt unsafe scaling the ladder and hauling stuff up and down UNTIL I found these. They are the PERFECT solution. Home Depot only had small metal handles that I couldn't really get my hand around safely (they are not designed to be used as safety grips, per se). I drilled these into the landing at the top of the stairs and I now always have something SUPER sturdy and big and grippy to hang on to. Best solution ever.

Was looking for play set handles for our newly built climbing wall and needed something sturdy but also weather proof- this is definitely perfect. The handles are a really nice quality heavy construction plastic and they secured easy to our wood climbing wall that my husband build. Our girls (2 & 4) can easily grab these and hold on securely with their body weight to pull themselves up to the platform.

Great addition to our grandchildren's playset! Our youngest grandson is 2 and we were a little worried about him falling when climbing the ladder with the older kids...these handles are sturdy and easy for him to grasp. Good quality for the $ and the color matches the other components on the playset.

I used these for something a bit less conventional than they were designed for. I have an old Bolens tractor that I use around the house for pushing and pulling stuff around -- and giving my son a ride (I somehow survived this as a young boy, too). There are times I'm on an incline where I find myself grabbing for the fender to gain balance; however, I was literally grabbing on to the fender right above the spinning tire/wheel. Where my son is concerned, I hold him on my lap, but I wanted something he could also hold as well. I searched and searched for an affordable solution to install grab bars, but anything in the automotive/outdoor equipment realm is priced exorbitantly for all I need it for. Then I stumbled across these! I stopped at the local hardware store and added Grade 8 hardware, but otherwise, they work exactly how I imagined a solution would. They also helped create another area to use as a tie-down if necessary. I would like to reiterate the need for Grade 8 hardware if one is using these for something other than they were designed for. This is no fault of the product or manufacturer, but just what is necessary when redneck engineering is used.

I bought these safety handles to attach to my daughter's swing set, and they are just as I"d have expected. They were easy to install and seem very sturdy. I installed a set where the slide comes out of the playhouse area because I knew my daughter would be climbing up the slide, and these give her something to hold on to when she gets to the top. Nice product.
