Add some spring to you step and watch everyone ask you about it.
I really love the Z-Coil brand. This is my 5th pair. I've been buying these since the day they became available and even had store locations back in the mid 2000s. The build quality is amazing, the shoes themselves hold up for years and even when the spring base starts to separate you can either glue them back to the doing or just order a new spring. The shoe laces sadly are trash. Mine haven't lasted beyond two weeks. The shoe laces are too thin. I bought the mountain shoes also and they had the same failure point. I recommend getting jell insoles too. The hard plastic base will be hard to stand on if useing the provided insoles. With replaced shoe laces, and jell or foam comfort insoles, you will feel the difference. My knees don't hurt, i can run on my tredmil now withought hurting my damaged spine. The huge doing really absorbs the imoact. Stay away from extension cords or get the coil covers. I use one pair exclusively at work. I have noticed all of the nurses in my area seem to use these too and they stand for hours at work. Lastly I am puzzled why these are priced like a medical device at this point. They have been out for years now so how about an affordable version. Love the sneakers regardless.

great shoe
I love the shoe, they are very expensive and it took me a very long to purchase a pair. I am a chef and always on my feet. These shoes have helped my feet, so that I have zero pain in my feet anymore. I do have to swap these out with my old chef shoes for most of the cleaning projects in the kitchen, these are not safe to climb a ladder. But they are still worth it. I have never spent this much money on a pair of shoes before and I really hope these last a very long time. I will be happy with a year to two years of use out if these shoes. I almost got the slip on version but last minute got the lace up shoe, I am glad I did, I think the added support of the laces helps my feet. I normally am a size 10.5 in men sneakers and I bought these in a size 9 based on reading the previous reviews the shoes do run large. size 9 fit perfect and I have wide feet as well.

Extremely Uncomfortable
I wanted to love these z coil shoes but they were ill fitting and very uncomfortable to the point that they were painful. There's a thick built in plastic piece that dug into my feet also the shoes felt bulky and clown like making them difficult to walk in. Returning them for a refund.

Best impact resistance in the heel region than any other shoe I've tried
An extreme design that delivers a high level of impact cushioning.

Comfort and Durability = Perfection
Been using MBT for a few years—they helped, along with some other things, with my mid / low back pain. Since ownership of the MBTs have transferred, I no longer like how they are made and tried these z coils. Not only are these good for my back, they are also very, very comfortable and, I believe, also good for your joints—as advertised. These shoes have the same feeling of cushioning as if walking on sand at the beach. The ability to use different thickness of arch support (by purchasing an insole offered by the z coil company) is the icing on the cake—perfection.

Best Choice I've in a long time.
Bought these before a trip to Dollywood, normally me feet are killing me half way through the day and i have thought about these shoes for years but could never bring myself to pay that much for shoes, thought this would be the test to see if these really helped or not, well I can tell you after 3 days walking miles around Dolloywood these shoes WORK! I wore them a couple of days before the trip just to get adjusted to the shoes and my feet have not even begin to hurt on 3 days of walking no stop it seems. If you are going to be on your feet all day and your feet normally hurt give these a try, I think you'll be glad you did, I know I am, so much so that i just ordered another pair in a different color, now Want to save up and get a pair of the boots.

Kitchen shoes not slip resistant so dont bother
I honestly bought these shoes for the reviews. That and the are good for leg and back pain, both of those are true but I ordered the slip resistant kitchen shoes and they are anything but slip resistant. Ypu step on the slightest wet surface and you may as wll be on an ice rink. Highly disappointed for the amount of money I spent on these shoes.

Shoe of bad quality
I really liked the shoe but...... The left shoe coil is loose. Not the sole of shoe but the spring and shoe joint bad!! I can't wear much due to fear the coil will fall off and I'll hurt myself. I purchased the shoes late April. To me that seems poor quality. I can't figure out who to contact. There no option to speak to someone so that I can ask them to replace them no charge.Any suggestions?
