Yardley London Moisturising Body Lotion for Women, English Lavender, 8.4 Ounce

I love Yardley products but they can be hard to find. I'm so happy Amazon carries this wonderful lotion. For those that haven't tried it, this lotion is lightly scented - sure to not offend anyone nearby. It's lovely on the skin - not at all greasy - it just melts into the skin quickly with no sticky residue. Many other scented lotions are overpowering but not this one. The scent is lovely & mild, not too sweet & not too spicy but a very nice clean scent. This product was shipped from the UK but arrived very quickly. It's hard to describe Yardley scents - there's really nothing like them out there. Wonderful on all fronts. Sometimes the body wash can be found in some drug stores - R_t_ A_d for example. Try that before you give this as a gift. I'm thrilled.

My introduction to Yardley of London happened in London many years ago. I fell in love with the soft lavender scent - it is as soothing to me as the lotion is to my skin. Very happy that I can get the genuine article in the US, promptly delivered to my front door in perfect condition!! Well done and thank you!

I like the moisture and the scent.

I always loved the Yardley English Lavender line as a kid and was excited to find it on Amazon. It's a decent lightweight moisturizer and I appreciate that it doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin as so many fragranced products do (YMMV). The only reason I hesitate to give it five stars is that I am specifically able to pick up the scent of the urea in it at times. It's probably not even noticeable from a couple feet away.

I love Yardley products and they are not easy to find. I have not seen the lotion in years so when I saw this I was thrilled. It is a good price and the lotion is rich and very fragrant. It is also made in London as it should be. Have ordered other yardley products which were a disappointment because the scent was odd and then came to find out it was made in India. This one is the original. Love that I found it.

The moment I read the word 'lavender,' I thought of it's soothing, calming and desirable scent. It came pretty soon, and I ordered two bottles of the body mist and the lotion as well. When I got it, I was disappointed at the light scent, as I have always found lavender to be a more fragrant scent. The scent if just fair and does not last very long. Good try, but please do not deceive your public.

Smells great works well

Just received this today. Although Yardley changed the formula of their lavender products some time ago, they still smell quite nice. This lotion is what I expected it to be. Pleased with purchase. I recommend--just don't expect the old "purely lavender" scent of days gone by. Their new scent is a blend of lavender with other flowers. I like it.
