Spyderco - Tri-Angle White Sharpening Stone with Fine-Grit for Professional-Grade Finishing and Polishing - Sharpmaker - 204F1

I have been using the sharpmakervsystem since 1987. Purchased in a mall in Colorado one Christmas season. I have found this system is the best way to sharpen serrations on a knife blade, and sharpen tough steels. Unfortunately on a OIF tour on 2005 a white and a brown (fine and medium) sticks were broken. The kit is once again complete!

Ive been using A Spyderco Sharpmaker for about 23 years now. ( Been through 2 or 3, actually). But last week, I did something I have Never done: I dropped the fine stone onto a tiled floor. Yes, it shattered the stone like a pane of delicate glass. Broke it into 3 pieces. Tragedy had finally visited my sheltered existence. Found a replacement on Amazon. It got to my house fast, in extremely secure packaging. I was very impressed. If you need a sharp blade, you can't go wrong with a Spyderco Sharpmaker. They are easy to use, clean, & no burden in setup/breakdown. My knives stay razor sharp with this little beauty. Works on virtually any knife, even those serrated blades Spyderco is famous for. Get a Sharpmaker. You wont be sorry.

I was given a Spyderco Sharpening System after the previous owner somehow broke one of the fine grit ceramic rods. This sharpening system is one of the easiest and most effective sharpening systems I have ever seen, but the previous owner felt it was a loss because of the broken part. Obviously, he wasn't aware that replacement rods can be found on Amazon. I have just finished sharpening two of my most-used kitchen knives only 15 minutes after I got this brand new replacement rod in the mail, a full two days faster than originally expected. The new "stone" (rod) helped me to bring both knives to chef-level sharpness. The price for this rod was excellent, especially as it included shipping. I highly recommend the vendor, Green Valley Place, for their prompt shipping and very fair price.

Dropped it onto concrete corner first with no damage. Flats are not perfect, nor the corners, but works great on my SE Caribbean.

Nice files for a nice price. I scored it and split it into two to make it easier to use for some tasks

Managed to lose one of the White bars and this was a perfect factory replacement. All my knives are now hair popping sharp.

Surprised when this arrived in a hard plastic tube that protected it. Had been nervous when a thin ceramic rod had showed up in a bubble pouch but tube saved it. Spyderco makes some of the best ceramic sharpening items so the quality was good. Did not work for the knife I wanted to use it on but will work for others.

Eigentlich ist der Stein super, jedoch finde ich es völlig daneben, daß hier nur ein einzelner Stein verkauft wird! Die Steine werden im Sharpmaker schließlich paarweise angeordnet... Ergo: Die Steine (plural) kosten gar keine 18€ sondern satte 36€ und das wiederum finde ich eine Frechheit. Dennoch habe ich mir jetzt noch einen zweiten Stein geordert, wenn auch widerwillig.

Purchased this to replace a broken stone in a old Spyderco sharpener, it was exactly like the original, worked great.
