Super bright. Most folks love how bright LEDs are. I prefer the crisp white color vs brightness. These were perfect color, but I ended up using some black vinyl to block out some of that light and not look like a rolling billboard at night. I expected that and it’s a very simple modification. These get 5 *s. They do come with a resistor so the bulb out light is not present on the dash and it works perfectly. If your lights don’t go on, just flip the connector and turn your lights back on and they should work. But my take, the resistors don’t heat up much so you should be ok just clipping the lights in and letting the resistors sit inside the light/bumper. DO YOUR OWN TEST TO MAKE SURE!!!!

I’m very picky when it comes to what I like. I don’t settle with something just because it’s ok and works decent. So with that being said these lights are incredible. I’ve replaced all of our family vehicles license plate lights with LED. I opted for this style instead of the bulbs for the price. The LED bulbs that are used for the stock housings seem to be very expensive.I purchased these and I’m very happy with them. They are very bright and might actually be too bright! But I am still going to keepthem because a good quality LED is better than a bad quality one.Con-There are no instructions on how to hook them up. For me it was very easy. You can figure out where the wires get plugged in very easy. I know most of the people might find the connections difficult but there are videos on you tube if you need them.

This product, unless I misread was listed to fit Volkswagen however there would need to be modifications involving cutting factory metal to get these to fit not gonna happen...... I did test them before I realized they would not fit just to see how bright they were. They were exponentially brighter than the factory halogen and quite a bit brighter than another LED that I put in.

Didn't read the fitment at all.... Plug for the lights is not the same nor does it fit because the Jetta has drop in style bulbs into a plastic housing. If you cut the plastic housing and bolt the trunk opener/holder with the 2 10mm bolts back in, the actual trunk lid has the perfect size square hole. They are very bright. Can't wait till it gets dark.I can tell the two lights are a little bit different colors but not by much. Will update with night time results.

this one is listed under AudiVW but all Porsches are using similar light.this one fits perfectly, make sure you zip tie the resistor to the main harness so it doesn't rattle etc. I've also placed some fabric tape around the jumper connector, to make sure water doesn't get in there.I like the look of this LED better than the incandescent lights.
