A Catholic Perspective on the Purpose Driven Life is a great companion book to Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life especially for Catholics and how to use Warren's book without deviating from the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Aside from that,it also explains and clarifies issues that Warren has brought up in his book that are different from the beliefs of the Church.Too bad that I felt it was somewhat underwritten.It would have been better if Fr. Champlin wrote a separate book that is similar to that of Rick Warren and how to apply his principles and wisdom that is within the perspective of the Catholic Church.

The purpose driven life was an excellent book. We met every day for 40 days and I believe it brought us closer together as a community. We used the Catholic Perspective to enhance The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Doing a chapter a day gave us the opportunity to think and consider the information presented.

This is an okay response to the Purpose Driven Life (which has its own limitations). Most of his material could be fleshed out in much greater detail. I feel that the author just wanted to get it published without any additional work on it. It shows.

Great book! Used it in Bible study class.

Great easy read, after completing Rick Warren's 40 day journey. It shows those who pratice the Catholic faith to see and understand the few minor differences.

This book is a great companion to Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life. Every Catholic should read this book. A Catholic Perspective on the Purpose Driven Life
