This is a really nice light with a sleep and modern look. It lights my desk area just as I need it to. I don't have an overhead light in my home office and I needed something (not too bright - not too dark) to brighten my desk. This is high enough on my desk to act as an overhead light. The remote is fantastic. This is PERFECT! Love this lamp!

This lamp looks very much like quite a lot of the others on Amazon, but this one is unusual in that it comes with a remote control. Since I position the lamp just out of reach, the remote control was one of the features that attracted me to it.What's in the box: lamp with integrated base, 10V/1A power adapter, an alcohol swab, and a remote control. The remote control takes 2xAA batteries which are *not* supplied.Mounting clamp: has a plastic foot and the clamp and screw are metal. Your mounting surface should be no more than 74mm (2 7/8") thick.Setup: the power plugs into the foot of the base just above where it pivots on the clamp. This is not shown on any of the product images. When you rotate the base, the power cord rotates with it. The top part of the clamp occupies an area on the edge of the desk that is 2 inches wide and 2 1/8 inches deep. The underside of the clamp needs 4 1/2 inches of vertical space under the desk.Range of motion: the product image showing range of motion is accurate. The first section of the lamp arm pivots from 20˚ behind vertical to 50˚ below horizontal; the middle section goes from 5˚ to 176˚ so it does not quite fully straighten. The section that holds the lamp can bend between 40˚ when closed and 250˚ when fully open. Finally the lamp can rotate 150˚ each way along its own axis. This allows you to get quite creative with how you aim the lamp.Controls: there's a touch sensor on the very end of the lamp that you can use to cycle through 5 presets (5 colors, warm through cool, all full brightness) and off. If you turn the lamp off with the remote control, then tapping the button will return to the same color/brightness, but otherwise it cycles through the 5 presets. The remote control is as pictured and works as you'd expect. It operates from across the room but I haven't tried it over long ranges. By the way, if the lamp entirely loses power, it will default to off when power returns, and will then go to its first preset (warmest / 100%) when switched on.Timer function: you can use dedicated buttons on the remote to turn the lamp off after a 60s or 10m delay. When you set the timer, the lamp blinks fully off for a fraction of a second as confirmation before turning back on. This may be undesirable to some.Color range: the range of colors is fair - the warmest one is good for evening use. The coolest one is maybe a little cooler than the sky on an overcast day. This allows me to approximately match the color to the conditions outdoors through the daytime while having incandescent-like warmth in the evening.Brightness: I haven't calibrated it against any known light sources but the range is about right for a desk lamp. I don't notice any visible flicker on any of the settings. While I'm here I should point out that the lamp gets warm in use, but nothing like as hot as non-LED illumination. The illuminated portion is about 15 1/4in long, which results in softer shadows than a regular lamp. If you're using this as a fill light for a webcam, it's a considerable improvement over a point source such as a single bulb traditional desk lamp.Overall dislikes: the inability of the arm to go fully straight is an annoyance, but not a dealbreaker. The blink to confirm setting the time doesn't bother me, but it might bother you. The sleep timer has only two possible values, but I don't plan on using this feature much.Overall likes: this lamp takes up about as little desk space as is feasible. It has a low profile and impressive range of motion. The remote control does everything I could want. At $55 it's a little more than the similar units that don't have a remote control. If you care about the remote control, this is the lamp for you!

Love it! So simple, so bright, and love that it is adjustable with different light settings , as well as adjustable to move around. It use it to do my nails and I love I can position it right above so I can get as much light as possible. Must buy!

This lightis really nice ,its very well made and looks more expensive than it was.Alot of different settings.The only thing they could have done better is, you have to point the remote directly at the light bar.which most times its over your head.They should have put the remote sensor in the base.

Puts out good light. 5 color modes and 6 levels of dimming, all available from the remote. The head pivots up and down and rotates toward or away from you, but the head does not swing left to right. The whole lamp swings, but not just the head to keep it parallel with my workspace. The hinge points are tight and stiff. I see no easy way to loosen them up. My biggest beef is that the remote just happens to control my other desk lamp as well. I do not want one remote turning on and off two lights at the same time (although the idea is tempting). Otherwise, I think this is a good product overall.

It has a decent build but plastic joints look cheap with feaux metal finish. I also wish the head could turn completely upwards to provide ambient lighting. This isn't really an option as it is. The light quality is good and the different temperatures work well. The remote is also a plus.

I've used this for several months now, I use this at work on an angled table, extended out at an angle so it centers up over my workspace. It's right in front of the TV screen (that I use as a computer monitor), so I have to tilt it away from that. It works PERFECTLY. The way the color and brightness are tunable are just icing on the cake. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

The media could not be loaded. This lamp is perfect for my nail station, I did my research for a good lamp for my nail station I found this by watching someone on YouTube a few ladies have it and it's perfect. Awesome lighting very easy to assemble great space saving too I just love it.
