If you want to see 150 stark white, ultra-modern, minimalist interiors this is the book for you. Might as well be the same house 150 times. Get the same authors cottage book though, that one is awesome.

Total waste of paper and money. English was obviously not the first language and an uninspiring complilation of pictures. I wish I knew whose recommendation I used to buy this. I'd have to question listening to them again!

I disagree with the comments from earlier reviewers from the US. Whereas they were saying that the interiors in this book were too stark, I found them truly modern, minimalist and international, in stark contrast to the bland American "country cottage" look that they appeared to favour. I guess it's a matter of personal taste but it's the often well-rated modern country / California style, and Miami / New York maximalist style design books that I've been discarding. There's much more modern and compelling design now from places like Japan, Scandinavia, France, the UK, Spain and Brazil. There are some better, more international compilations than this book but it's still worth keeping.
