Delicious Soup
Fabulous Soup! This is not a gross canned, condensed soup. It is packaged in a carton, ready to serve and all you have to do is heat it up. It is fresh tasting and delicious. You can taste the lobster! I will buy again and again. Well worth the money. I can't wait to try the other flavors. Thank you, Soupman.

Soup Nazi must have really lost those recipes in the furniture found by Elaine, this swill can't be what they real place sells.
Funny taste and definitive aftertaste in this bisque. The new downtown library a few years ago has an independent restaurant attached that I was disappointed when it turned into a Dunkin Donut shop. The place before had better food just no name to draw from. For about three dollars they served a slightly spicy tomato bisque that was great with a grilled cheese sandwich. I've had lobster bisque at Red Lobster on occasion and a few other places that are higher end restaurants. All of them are much better than this. While I didn't expect the soup to have chunks of lobster in it, this is a bisque not a chunky soup. I did expect a rich taste with no aftertaste. It may be problematic to make a good seafood soup packaged the way these are. I ate a really good lobster bisque about 12 years ago that was frozen at the supermarket. It was at least as expensive as these but it tasted good, not quite as good as a restaurant but still very tasty.Unless New York people have some weird tastes, I can't believe these are exactly the soups that keep them coming day after day to the model for the Soup Nazi's restaurant. I've had better soups at East of Chicago Pizza, Red Lobster, Halls of Fort Wayne, and Olive Garden, all very low priced places with no real reputation for high end soups. In a day and age where soups are being ruined by removal of salt and fat, to supposedly be healthy there's room for a decadent tasting soup. This is not it. Not recommended.

Too Salty and Sweet
When I bought this it was $24.89 for 6 packs of soup, which is reasonable...I can't believe its gone up to $50, which is NOT reasonable ! Anyway, if you are an older person who has to watch your sodium and sugar, I would not recommend this soup for you, it is extremely high in both. I was disappointed, because it does not look like the picture on the carton. There are no pieces of colorful and yummy looking things floating around. It has no bits of anything floating around, it's just liquid that is extremely salty and sweet.

Very disappointed!
No it did not meet my expectations. I expected lobster bisque to have at least a trace of lobster. It's like ordering vegetable soup without any vegetables. The flavor wasn't even that good. Very disappointed.

AWESOME SOUP!
Bought this for my wife's birthday. Added 2.5# of lobster meat to 4 boxes of soup. Very nice ratio. Boiled up some Fettuccine and served over the pasta...awesome dish! They raved over it, my Granddaughter said "this is the second best meal you ever cooked". That's saying something! (her favorite is lamb chops)

Yes soup for me!
Almost as good as at the stands in New York! I rarely buy any seafood bisque that is prepackaged. This is an exception. Great soup!It isn't very heavy on the lobster so sometimes I will add crab or lobster but it is good without adding anything. Well worth the price, it's a great value.

Look at your grocery store instead
This is some bad tasting, onion overdosed lobster bisque. I bought this because I trust reviews. What a mistake. Now I have 5 left that I'll be donating to a food drive.
