**Q: The cage nut is where cab mount bolts to?**
A: Yes. Take your time with loosening the bolt. Those cage nuts can easily become uncaged. Soak them down let em sit a couple days to better your chances.

**Q: Dose this support fit the drivers side as well ?**
A: Yes it does.

**Q: Does this fit passneger or driver side**
A: I bought one  and used it on the drivers side. It should work on either side. Be prepared to weld  it in place. A not so good option is use self tapping SS screws and also screw it through the floor board also.Hope this helps
