Just so everyone knows, sometimes your stock phone camera app may not recognise/utilise external mic. I can't believe I've had my OnePlus 5T for 3 years before realising this. I thought the mic was faulty but it's definitely not the case and works fine. There's an easy work around in downloading a third party camera app, like open camera. During my research I saw that other phones (such as flagships from 2019 onwards) you have to manually change settings to utilise an external mic. Hope this helps someone!

Long story short, this is EVERYTHING YOU NEED to start a youtube or upgrade your smartphone content, in ONE BOX.A complete one stop shop and it's brilliant as these items, individually, can EASILY add up to £100.Firstly, the presentation is not here at all. It literally looks like everything was chucked into one box and packaged for shipping. You get the Tripod, smartphone clamp, Tripod ball head and a shotgun microphone.The weakest part of this combo pack is the tripod ball head which I would personally not use at all or, perhaps swap out with a better quality version. It works, but it is not smooth at all to pan and tilt.The mini tripod is very sturdy and feels as though it is made of good quality. The microphone is not the best, but there is no doubt it will give you better quality than the built in microphone on your phone. The light is actually quite good and will be much brighter than any light your phone can produce. Makes it perfect for you to film in lowlight conditions.All in, I think that this is a VERY GOOD package for the price.

I really like this video kit. Lightweight, sturdy, a complete package and really easy to use.The package came right on time with no damage. One thing which I really like, it came with a manual and how to build the kit up. The manual came in pretty handy it took me 3 mins to create my full kit. I bought ring light last year gave me hard time to make it in one piece together. LED light and mic both works really great and I am very happy with the performance using this from last 1 week. Best part, assemble and disassemble is so easy you can carry it any where and all parts comes easily in my handbag.Happy customer :D

ordered this for my 14yr son he wanted to start YouTube vlogging He used the kit and the mic quality is better suited for video than his phone's and focuses the sound much better. The tripod was solid and sturdy even acted like a selfie stick for vlogging I’ve also used it a couple times to do some filming I can say that I recommend this product if your looking for quality

Very good stand and light - very versatile. The microphone isn't the best quality and no better than the mic. in the phone, to be honest. Still the overall price is low and the stand and light are worth it.

I use this for self-tapes (actors will know what I mean!) and I think it's a very good solution. It seems pretty sturdy and is definitely versatile in terms of the angles you can achieve. The light is a little bright, even on the lowest setting, hence the 4 stars, but with a bit of bubblewrap or similar tapes over it works well. The microphone quality seems fine, though I'm no expert. Everything connects together very handily. I attach mine to my full-sized tripod using the hot shoe (this came with my tripod, not with this kit).Overall I like that it's all connected and in one place. My tapes have been good since!
