Awesome tool

The Shark Bite pipe cutter works perfectly fine, very sharp for a quick snap of a pipe I had to buy another one for my friend. It's now an important addition to my plumbing tools.

PEX PEX PEX I’ve read negative reviews regarding this cutter. I believe it’s due to the operator and using in wrong application, cutting non pex tubing. Or not centering PEX into small notch in the bottom center of the jaw. Used on 1/2” PEX A. Straight cut, smooth operation. PEX tubing was not deformed. Moral of the story properly tool for the application.

Might seem expensive but cuts easy and square

Not a good cutter. I used it to cut 16mm Pex pipe. The blade went dull quickly. The plastic handles flex to much, making it difficult to cut all the way through. It worked well on soft hose. I will not recomend this cutter if you are a tradesman like me.
