IyMooWomen's Off Shoulder High Split Long Formal Party Maxi Dress Evening Gown

I had to go to the Magic Castle in Hollywood where the dress code is ‘Evening Attire/Old Hollywood’. I ordered 7 dresses off amazon to see which one would make the cut. To be honest I did not expect to be keeping THIS one! I am curvy but do not look anywhere as curvy as the model in the pictures so I worried it might either reveal to much, just hang on my body or make me look, dare I say, ‘cheap’ (for reference, I’m 35 so what I used to consider classy at 25, I wouldn’t dare wearing today lol). I was surprised how well the dress hugs my body and me being able to adjust how much leg and how much cleavage I want to show. Even though it’s a very plain material it does look really elegant and ‘expensive’. I walked around all night and even got pulled on stage at a performance (yes I credit it to the dress) and got SO MANY compliments on the dress from other woman, that I ended up screenshot-ing the amazon listing and sent it to them so they could buy it for themselves! It’s feather light and just the perfect length for me in heels (I’m 5’10”) even though I did have to carry the train a bit to not trip over it but that made it look even more glam. I will definitely get it in another color and wear it for the next event!

I love the way thos dress compliment my body type. I'm 5"4 and weight 155. The medium fits perfectly but I could have gotten a small because of the stretching fabric. It was a little long but I went to a seamstress and got it altered. Love Love Love!

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it was extremely long. Alterations were too expensive & far more than the cost of the dress. It was lovely, so I draped it over my arm & still it was elegant. Tons of compliments. I originally ordered a 2X for 16-18. But I returned it a went down a size. 12-14

Beautiful and very flattering. Sexy for sure!!!! Be prepared to do something with the breast or the will hang. I wore a body suit underneath with clear straps to pull the breast up! Perfect choice. I am 5’3 so it was long on me and my heels were only 3 inches. But it worked and I received tons of compliments all night!!!! Too busy looking fabulous I forgot to get a full body image. Also I am 200 pounds and the ruffle in the stomach area was very flattering. I put on a glitter belt to match my accessories. I ordered a size Large instead of XL cause I wanted that dress to hug me all over and it definitely understood the assignment! Don’t wait! This dress is fire!

It doesnt look exactly like the photo. It's a pretty dress in it's own right, but the soft elastic fabric drapes on me instead of hugging me like it should based on the size chart and photos. So size down if you can. The fabric is soft and nice, but I agree with another review on here, it is cheap fabric. Also, probably good to have with a belt or corset because there is an obvious seam around the waist that is a bit distracting.

I purchased this dress for a wedding with a formal attire requirement. The material is of a satisfying quality, heavy, and flowy. It is not super tight (hence the 4 stars I gave it), so size down if you want it to hug you more and you’re petite like me. It looks like it fits tight but it does not. lol. I also recommend double sided tape to keep the top in place, if you are of a smaller bust/breast size. It is very long so it’s perfect for heels. Just keep an eye on it so it don’t trip or the bottom doesn’t snag on your heels. Overall, it serves its purpose, I received several complements and inquiries on where I got it, and I’d definitely wear it again. Buy it!
