Not what I expected. It would be unfair to give it one or two stars, but it's just not up to the task of being called a "tactical messenger bag". Maybe "un-padded laptop bag with some pockets and zippers that maybe work".The only thing beyond cosmetic features making it tactical, is a few molle loops on the outside.As a "messenger bag", there are no pockets or loops for pens or pencils or tools. As a "tactical messenger bag", there are no pockets for flashlights or pepper spray or spare magazines, etc. Just a few OK, plain pockets.And the zippers are maybe or maybe not OK. Out of the box, the zippers were all sticky, and a couple of them were gaping open in the middle. With a little work they appear to be working OK, but only time would tell. I will never know, because I am returning it.

I ordered this bag for work and it is great! I love all the different compartments. I have plenty of room for my notebooks, tablet, phone, highlighters and pens. The shoulder strap is padded and it is comfortable to carry around all day if needed - I use it to and from work and my classes. You can use the flag or find a seller and order your name to go on the bag - it is Velcro.And yes it is water resistant, I was caught in the rain without an umbrella and no water leaked though and all my items were safe.If you want or need a bag - this is the one to buy. It is professional. I highly recommend it and you will be 100% satisfied.

This bag came in a large, cloudy, used industrial ziploc bag. Not a designer gift bag wrapped in tissue paper. The bag itself didn’t come with any thank you cards or product information for purchasing the product. It felt cheap and stiff. The zippers are poor quality. The bag is much smaller in person and did I mention that the fabric is of poor quality; cheap and rough feeling. Every pocket is too small for functionality. Lots going on it just looks messy. The main pocket is too small for a 15” laptop. So a few folders or a book. It just doesn’t seem like the type of bag a military quality bag lives up to. Highly disappointed and would not recommend. Even the flag patch that came with the bag was of poor quality and already started to break apart when peeling it off from the backing. Cheap, cheap, cheap.
