This impact tool far exceeds all others.
Having been a telecom guy for 55 years I can say that this impact tool is better than all other brands that both myself as well as my son have ever used. You usually get what you pay for, this is no exception and is worth the extra cost. We use these impact tools daily and require longevity as well positive terminations.

Not for a professional but good for minimal use
I really wanted to like this product. With the amount of terminations I do I wanted something that was more comfortable holding in my hand. This item appeared to have that. However after further review there are no picks to help when need to remove wire from the punch down terminal this is key for this tool and it should be included that’s why I gave it three stars

Great quality
This Paladin Tools PA3571 Professional Impact Punch Down Tool is a great quality tool. It looks and feels like it's very well made and sturdy. It's comfortable to hold with a grip that works for both big and small hands. It's easy to use, and it even has a place for blade storage. My son uses this tool regularly, and he says it's still working great - that comes from someone who's gone through a handful of punch down tools. The competition either breaks or just doesn't perform as well as this one, so I'd say this Paladin is a great value in both quality and cost.

Really well made, two punch settings, reversible tip.
I'm using this for keystone connectors and it works perfectly. On low it does not quite cut through the bottom insulation, but the excess pulls right off. On High it cuts clean through. Low power takes much less effort and works fine. Made a few jacks so far with no issues.The tip stores in the base. This tool is also a LOT more robust than a couple of other punchdown tools I have. It takes the standard replacement 110/66 Blade.
