## Description

ARCTIC P14 PWM PST - PC Fan, 140mm Fan, PC Case Fan with PWM Sharing Technology (PST), Pressure-optimised, Computer, Fan Speed: 200-1700 rpm (0 rpm <5%) - White : desertcart.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

## Features

- OPTIMISED FOR STATIC PRESSURE: Fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance, therefore, the P14 PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators
- 200 TO 1700 RPM (0 RPM <5 %) REGULATED VIA PWM PST: Thanks to 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM, noise is kept at minimum while maximum cooling performance is given when needed
- EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY: The motor is powered by a latest generation PWM IC, achieving higher efficiency and saving energy without compromising performance
- EXTENDED LIFE SPAN: A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan, the new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature
- TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 200–1700 rpm (0 rpm <5 %), Airflow: 72.8 cfm | 123.76 m³/h, Noise Level: 0.3 Sone, Static Pressure: 2.4 mmH₂O, Pin: 4-pin

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this one 4pin PWM one fan, the same as the value 5 pack?**
A: I do believe these are the same so long as you're not asking about the CO version. I purchased the 5 fan value pack, these are listed as 4 pin, but are really 3 pin in a 4 pin configuration. That's power, ground and a PWM signal for fan control. They also have the 4 pin socket for daisy-chaining, but of course the vacant pin location will produce an unused socket. It's a straight-through connection since all the fans work on the same electrical design. Mine plugged right into the motherboard fan headers and are currently being speed-controlled by the system as I write this and they have remained matched with the other fans in terms of speed. Even under load my motherboard hasn't ever amped these to max, and my CPU has remained below 70C even under the heaviest loads. I have an ASUS motherboard if that helps. Oh, and very quiet.

**Q: Are screws includes with the fans to mount them on the case?**
A: Metal self-tapping screws are included, don't unscrew it too many times, the frame of fan might not be able to handle it.

**Q: Can the p14 pwm be powered by an external 12v dc power source for a non pc diy project ?**
A: Yes... for example this product will plug in
CRJ DC Power Supply for 2 x 3/4-Pin 12V Computer PC Case Fans https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071FNN9W7/

**Q: The title says "arctic p14 pwm pst" but then in the style it says "p12 pwm pst white" then in the description it says "p14 pwm pst" so p12 or p14**
A: The P14 is the 140mm version. The P12 is the 120mm.
