For standard mailbox: 4 digit number fits behind the flag when flag is down. Large size numbers look great on the flag-less side. Material is tough and doesn't rip but thin enough to adhere smoothly to the small horizontal ripples that are part of standard USPS metal boxes. A plastic squeegee about the size of a credit card is included for smoothing. Numbers are easily spaced evenly by lining up the topside clear cover with the previous number's cover before removal. Hardest part of placement was separating the top from the bottom clear covers! Tip: after cutting across the top to get rid of the seal, bend a corner then flutter your thumb across the corner to separate the top and bottom. Line up the number using the cover edges then roll back the top cover as you press the the number in place. I rolled the top cover sideways to temporarily leave the right hand side as a guide for placement of the next number. All numbers up - rolled off the last little bits of the top covers and voila- perfectly spaced, level numbers. They look great.

Great package, different size numbers/letters and they shine from light at night. After a month of various weather they are like brand new. Easy to stick on a mailbox, window, car window, etc.

I bought these mailbox number stickers and they worked out perfectly. The numbers are clear, bold, and very easy to read from a distance, which is exactly what I needed for my house. They were super easy to apply, just peel and stick. I made sure to clean the surface first, and the adhesive stuck really well. No bubbling or peeling so far, even after a few heavy rainstorms and hot sunny days. They seem very weather-resistant and durable. I also liked that the set came with multiple sizes and duplicates of each number, so I had options and backup in case of a mistake. Easy to put on and stays put!

Overall this seems like a great product and I'm happy I bought them. I remember thinking that all of the bad reviews could be attributed to people not reading the directions. l had 2 issues - one of my 8's had a little bump on it when I took it out of the envelope, then I turned it over and saw a bug between the sticker and backer. Also, 2 other 8's were a little bent They did arrive in an Amazon bubble mailer, so it could have happened in transit, however since only a few of the other numbers were bent I wonder if it happened at the factory. I only needed 3 numbers, and just my luck several of my 8's had issues No big deal I figured...I'll pick off the bug with the head of a pin and I can probably squeegee them flat when I install. (I've installed hundreds of screen protectors, including removing dust that clinged to the adhesive when the backer was removed, so I was quite confident). No luck getting out the creases though...slightly annoying but they weren't that expensive. The bug was just crazy though---he must has landed on the 8 at the factory before the glue layer went on, because he was UNDER the glue, so our mailbox is now his final resting place Heads up for anyone else using numbers from the top and bottom row --- while they were cut perfectly to align them straight on the left & right, there's no point of reference on how high or low because the top row of the top numbers is not even with the top row of bottom numbers I'm glad I noticed before I peeled off the backer, because I thought of a quick fix that worked perfectly. I went back inside and layed them on a piece of paper to align the tops along the straight edge then i put a piece of tape in the middle to hold them while I drew a few reference lines on the top platic layer that I used to line them up when I intalled them (see photos). This was also an opportunity for me to preview exactly where I wanted to place them These are super shiny and very sticky, so hopefully they last a good while. I will edit if that's not the case, but they seem great for now and you have to be pretty close to notice the bends & bug spot They serve their purpose of identifying my house #.

These reflective vinyl number decals are all that they claim to be. They are highly reflective, waterproof, and they really stick on the mailbox. They've performed well in the hot summer and in sub-zero winter weather.
