Perfect Fit
I bought these to try on some older quart glass milk bottles I can't return. The caps fit perfect and didn't leak when I turned the bottle upside down, or even when I shook it. They are sturdy enough that they'll last, but flexible enough to be easily removed from the bottle

Outstanding for Old and New Glass Milk Bottles
I have about six new half-gallon and two old quart milk bottles that I love to use instead of the plastic bottles milk now comes in. So when I get home from the store, I take time to decant all the milk into these glass bottles and enjoy it from that. I can't prove it, but I believe it makes the milk last longer; it certainly tastes better. While you can of course buy bottled milk, I think it's better to do that once, keep the bottles and lose the deposit. It will save a lot of money.I also use the bottles for making a large amount of a smoothie and pouring it into the bottles. And this summer the bottles will also host my gazpacho, a summer soup I adore beyond measure instead of keeping it in tall pots where it takes up annoying amounts of room in the refrigerator. With these sturdy and long-lasting caps, I now have a ready supply of convenient and easy-to-store bottles for my liquids. I love that I was able to get these at a very reasonable cost so I can look forward to cleaner, neater, probably healthier and certainly more attractive containers in my refrigerator.

Great option for old bottles but...
Not giving it a 5 star just for one reason. Was hard to see in the description that these caps are used two different ways: the first is the initial snap on, for the first time using them. They will snugly fit over the bottle opening which is great, but are designed to have a peel bottom open system. Meaning for the first use you need to pull the pull tab at the bottom, ripping it off the cap, and peeling it off all around. This scared me because I thought that they were going to end up being usable just once. After using it the first time I rewashed the cap, let it dry, and then stored it near the bottles I had. I went back to use the bottle and the cap does snap back on; snug but not as snug as the initial use. Therefore for a multiple use don;t expect this to hold the liquid for the bottle in where you could be able to transport it and move it around a lot. Use it, it works fine if just putting the bottle in your fridge. If you have kids that might not understand how to get it on there snugly just be aware when you're reaching back in the fridge to get it and use it that the top doesn't pop off.

Good deal for modern milk caps
These work well on Strauss Family Creamery and other modern milk bottles. They will slide on without splitting the safety ring, but it separates on the first removal. It still seals well and seems like it would reassure gift recipients or buyers if you use them for product packaging. They do not fit older milk bottles designed for inset waxed paperboard lids.

Replacement Caps for The Dairy Shoppe® (6 pack, 48 MM)
They've held up well. They're better than the original caps that came with the bottles.

Not like my original lid
I ordered my bottle several years ago from The Dairy Shoppe and the original lid was a much heavier plastic and held up very well. That being said, I’m replacing it now as it cracked on the sides, I’m assuming due to it getting brittle with age. These lids also don’t have The Dairy Shoppe logo on them, which I liked. If I could find the heavier lids, I’d still buy them, even though they cracked.

Fantastic product - way to expensive!
These are resusable, and thank god, because they would be inaccessible otherwise. They snap on tightly. We have been reusing them for our fresh milk almost daily, so they really stand up to regular use. After a couple of months, i noticed one is cracking. Again, as their ad states clearly, don't complain if you order the wrong size. I did get the right size, and they work fine. The cons? Considering the ability to produce food grade plastic in 2023, the cost on this specialized product is ridiculous. I hope they find a North American supplier to produce this great product, but at a better price. There seems to be a "gauge and screw over" approach to customers from manufacturers like Bernardin, and other makers of products that are used for making or keeping food, whether it's Mason jars, lids, cheese making stuff, etc. It makes it unattractive to most people who want to make their own jam, cheese, pickles, to have to pay over $10 CDN for a dozen preserve jars. This technology has been around a long time! There is no reason for it's cost to skyrocket, except that, it is seen as a specialty product. My message to the "save the world" types is, "if you are serious about saving the world, then promote reuse of glass jars, quality made lids, etc."
