Works great with my Roland SPD-SX
Much cheaper than the Roland branded pedals, and works great including velocity sensitivity on the trigger ports. The kick pedal is not particularly stiff in terms of it's springiness, but playable and sounds great.

Worth the money. Best option for yamaha dd75
I bought this for my Yamaha dd75. I am beginner drummer and this is my first kit. The pedals which came in the box with dd75 were just plain stupid. I looked up online and could find that this is the promised one to buy with an electric kit. Since I have very less experience of using other types of pedal, I can't say how better it is compared to others but this product is a high quality, well built and well designed product. It strong and heavy and comes with a really long cable which is really impressive. I haven't faced any issues using it. Concern- the only concern or question I got in my mine after using it was if the spring is supposed to be that thin or should it be offering more resistance and if should be bouncing back stronger. I found it comfortable but I felt the pedal getting back into it's original position is lil eased out and it should be somehow quick. Added the pedals which came included in dd75

NEARLY SILENT!! and next to zero reverb into the floor when playing!!
I got this since I live in an Apartment, and playing my e-drums is a stress reliever. but when a few months ago i got the dreaded knock on my door to quiet down one evening, I haven't touched them since :( I stumbled on this pedal sort of by accident, when searchign for a way to quiet my existing beater style pedal. and when I saw this was beater-less and compatible with my head unit (Alesis DM-8) I hit buy now. It arrived today, and I plugged it in, and had to try out my kit for the first time in months. and I can tell you it's really, REALLY quiet.. even when you stomp on the thing it makes a tiny noise.. but NOTHING like my old Beater bar and kick pad. Just because I'm paranoid, and trying to be a good neighbor, I folded a tshirt and put it under the pedal just to eliminate any transfer of vibration to the floor, and even playing with headphones off, and just listening to the sticks on my pads, and kick pedal.. it's more quiet that my Window-AC that's 9ft away, even when mashing on the pedal. HIGHLY reccomend this if like myself, you're looking fior an e-kick pedal upgrade, and also cannot reccomend it enough for those looking for a nearly silent pedal for any E-Kit.

Worked with Donner drums
Works great! It worked seamlessly with my Donner DED 200 max!

Basic pedal, doesn't respond well
Tried using this kick pedal with my Alesis Strike Multipad. It's compatible, but the response is poor. Hard to play quick patterns consistently when compared to a real pedal with a KAT bass drum pad. It's compact and looks sturdy, but that doesn't outweigh the poor playability.

KU100 pedal bad. KP65 kick tower good.
Don't waste your money on the KU100. Hooked up to my DD65, it isn't loud enough, and I have to really wham this pedal down to get it to register a kick every time. Plus it feels mushy. What a piece of junk! I replaced it with the Yamaha KP65 kick tower and a real base drum pedal. What a difference! Every kick registers with normal force, and the KP65 has a volume control so I can get it just right. Yes, this combo makes a lot of ambient noise, but I use it in the basement so it's not a problem. My advice: Spend the extra dough and get something that works.

Good product
Happy with this . Quite for condo. Only negative is weak springs. Bought two of these. Springs 100% different in tension. I knew this could be problem before I ordered. Needed the quite. Still overall happy

What's with the extra long wire?
Purchased for my Yamaha DD-75 works right out of the box. No problems like the feel and speed. My only question why is the wire three times as long as nessary? You have to plug it into the DD-75 so all that is needed is around 3 feet max. You will have to coil the extra wire up after you plug it in, and put a wire tie.
