With two boys in “Virtual” Second Grade, We really needed something they can put in their hands to visualize the problems! It’s exactly what we used in second grade, so I got this pack for them to not miss out on learning from doing! I love the colors, the amount that it provided. It also a very nice plastic container with a handle!For whatever reason I would like to mention, that in second grade we are not up to the big four digit numbers yet!! So our red 1000 block, for now, takes up a lot of space and was used more as a something to mess with, than something to learn with!! So I “lost” it!! But only for a year or two!!

These are perfect for teaching place value, addition and subtraction. I homeschool a 5 year and these have helped her understand math concepts better than worksheets or staring at a computer, she enjoys building numbers and it helps to hold her attention. The included storage case is an added bonus, super easy to keep all the pieces organized. If you have a child who prefers hands on learning activities, these are wonderful.

Love this item. I thought the blocks were going to be foam but they are durable hard material. My child has a good time counting by 10s 1s and 100s because of this. It also helps that she cannot rip these apart lol.
