Nice little speaker. It gets pretty loud and sound is decent. Haven't noticed any distortion with audio. It has some weight to it and is well made, not cheap and flimsy. Has volume control and mute on the top. Took only a few seconds to set up. My old desktop speakers died so got this to replace them. I like I can put it on my monitor's base. Takes up very little space. I'm happy with this speaker. If you are into super hi-fi bass stereo sound, these are not for you. But if you are needing an inexpensive speaker that does get loud and has a decent sound I think you will be happy with these like I am. This is also great if you need to boost your laptop's sound. It works with Windows, Mac OS and Chrome OS and comes with a USB C adapter that the USB plugs into so can be used on PC, Chromebook, tablets, and Mac computers/tablets and am assuming some Android and Mac phones with type C ports. I highly recommend these speakers.

I have been using a JBL speaker with my computer because it's what I had. It had to be powered by a USB and connected with a headphone cord. Two things I hated about this setup: 1. the JBL turned off by itself after inactivity. 2. It didn't work well with my USB switcher when I needed to switch what computer everything was connected to.This speaker solves both problems and requires no setup other than specifying to use this speaker in your settings.No more are the days of not hearing Teams calls coming in or alerts on my computer because the speaker turned off and I had no idea.I love that it's 100% USB and doesn't require a headphone jack to connect.I love that this doesn't turn off. It's always on. I don't have to think about it. Though this could be a downside for those who work on laptops without always being plugged into a main power source.I love that it's slim and non-obtrusive on my desk. I hate a cluttered desk. I barely notice this thing is there.I love the touch tap buttons on the top. It's one of the features I loved about my JBL. Having the volume buttons on the device itself allow me to quickly turn up, down, or even mute. No having to fumble with my mouse and find the computer's sound control.I love that there is a red light that appears and stays on when you mute. It's very easy to see if I forgot to unmute (for example, when I'm in a work call and a get a call from my kids' school and need to mute my mic and my speakers so I can hear on my personal phone)As for sound quality. It's good enough. My sirius XM music sounds just fine. It's not a robust or surround sound by any means. But it sounds good enough for the music I play when I'm in deep focus mode. I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. This speaker can get quite loud.I have no complaints. Great little speaker for work for a great little price. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I got this speaker in Sep 2021, am writing this review in Apr 2025.The speaker works pretty well. The sound probably isn't great, but I just need to hear the computer's beeps and boops, youtubes, and video conferencing. It does those things perfectly fine. The buttons - especially mute - are convenient, though the labels are hard to see (that's common on devices nowadays - companies can't be bothered to make the labels A DIFFERENT COLOR from the rest of the device). Stick-on labels fix that problem, but look goofy.The Windows volume controls work on this speaker - that didn't happen on my first USB speaker, which was really irritating.I came to write a review because the speaker apparently died and I was going to write a more negative review. However the problem turned out to be that Windows decided to change the default sound output device to some audio device that doesn't have speakers connected to it. So the problem wasn't with this thing - Windows wasn't sending any sounds to it. One of these days I'll have to move to Linux...A couple minor cons:- stupid hard-to-read button labels- every now and again I have to disconnect and reconnect the USB connection to get the speaker to work. Once every month or two. A little annoying, but not the end of the world. For all I know this might actually be a Windows problem.I got this thing in Sep 2021 for $20; today is Apr 2025. So I've had it 3 1/2 years as of this writing. Still working (as long as Windows doesn't screw things up)
