This means 400mg of MgO is an equal number of each atom. When the label says 240mg of Magnesium (Mg), you are not being deceived about it being 400mg of MgO, as the other 160mg is the Oxygen (O).Now that that's out of the way, different types of Magnesium do different things for you.Magnesium Citrate is easy absorbed but has a laxative effect.
