I have tried out quite a few mesh drains for the kitchen sink. Ours is a standard 4 1/2" opening kitchen sink, with a garbage disposal on the other side. This Lasshswa Kitchen Sink Strainer fits the opening PERFECTLY. More importantly, the outside edge of the strainer lies flat or flush with the surface of the sink, which many of our old ones seemingly couldn't manage to do. This allowed little bits of stuff to escape around the outer edge of the strainer, which can add up to, eventually, a slow-draining sink. This one fits nice and snugly. It's shallower than the last one, but it's deep enough to catch plenty.The mesh is small enough that it catches everything that needs to be caught. But it isn't so tight that the drain is constantly getting clogged with a layer of invisible particles. Just a tap against the edge of the garbage container to clear it out, and it goes back in the sink and it quietly does its job very, very well.It's nice that you get two strainers for the price. I have a hunch this drain strainer is going to rust in the future some time, the way our old one did. However unlike our old one, the mesh is of much nicer construction, and is a tighter weave, so it is catching more of whatever is coming off of the dishes. And there is a spare one, and if that one rusts, the price for another two of these isn't going to break the bank.It's funny how satisfying it is to find the perfect little something that works well like this. Sure- it's only a sink strainer. But its construction and performance make your day just that little bit easier. As day to day life becomes more challenging, little things that do that for not a ton of money are more appreciated. Definitely going to buy back ups of these great little strainers.

Love these! Fit perfect and are VERY sturdy- Unlike others i have tried. They catch everything and water flows through them great. Will deff buy again when the time comes. Have been using these for a yr and still look like new. Deff a good buy and saves on any potential pipe clogs.

After trying a couple of the fancy 3-in-1 strainer/basket/stopper, I ended up with the basic/simple/effective design of them all - smaller holes/mesh (to catch so many dried spices I cook with), perfect rim/fit for my old sink, ease of dumping the basket, and ease of cleaning (I have not tried washing this in the dishwasher yet). Overall, great price, excellent design, and effective drainage, and quality sturdy material.

what can I say? these are absolutely perfect. fit the drain, food doesn't get under them, and for bonus points if you have a cat that is willing, they would make fetching cat crowns. I do not have such a cat. but I do have these kitchen sink strainers and boy howdy, do I love them. they have a nice, substantial weight, cleaning them is easy and they don't lose shine even over a year and more.

I have these in my kitchen sink that doesn’t have a disposal. This works really well to help catch any food and is easy to remove/dump out. After four years, they have started the rust though.

Absolutely love the two piece kitchen sink strainer. It is heavy duty is not lightweight but it fits perfectly in the sink. Made of good quality product. I would highly recommend this to anybody

I was delightfully surprised with how effective and attractive these are. We had silicone sink strainers before that would get dingy and look pretty abused within a couple weeks of being cleaned, eventually getting to the point where they never appeared clean anymore. These, on the other hand, have been catching more debris and have stayed much more clean! They fit perfectly and do their job well. They’re super easy to use and drop in/ pop right out of place and are easy to empty into the disposal or the trash. When they do start to look grimy, they’re easy to clean either by hand or they go straight into the dishwasher and come out gleaming again. The two-pack means that I can always have one that looks good while all the other one is being cleaned in that dishwasher. The fine mesh filter also catches anything we drop into the sink, whereas the old one would allow quinoa or rice through sometimes.These things are great and I‘ll be buying them again if something happens to them!

Feels nice and solid, very effective at capturing solid sink runoff. Small holes can get a big clogged, so needs frequent cleaning.

I love this product, keeps my drain from clogging. However, I had to have it delivered to my step-daughters home because it takes Amazon over a month to deliver it to my home P.O. Box number address. Not the way to do business.
