this was a good buy

The left side cowlings fell off while I was driven big down the street. I followed the install instructions well and didn’t even drive the Jeep for a couple days after I installed them. Needs wider 3M double sided tape.

Just some plastic pieces. I didn’t really want these, never really liked the way they looked and these are really only for looks. I’m more of a function over fashion person when it comes to my Jeep. These just happen to go in the exact spot where my Jeep recently received a nasty dent. These were a cheap solution to cover up some damage. They serve my intended purpose nicely. They actually look nicer than I expected. I read some reviews before purchasing and many recommended using 3M tape instead of what comes on these and I must say that 3M is definitely a necessity if you want these to stay stuck.

Look great..fit perfect.., dry fit it 1st, all points were tape was made contact with body.. TAPE IS HORRIBLE .. I even cleaned the cowl with compound to remove all wax, then wiped it it alcohol, let it dry. was perfect temperature , put it on, the next day im traveling at about 50mph and it blows off and crushed by cars behind me. Looks stupid with just 1 on there.. probably going to tear it off.. disappointed.

Wasn't a great experience. I love the look but despite following instructions, my driver side cowl flew off on the freeway hitting the car behind me on the second day. :( I would recommend buying some extra 3M tape with your order to secure it better.Overall, it is a nice looking product, just not enough installed tape to secure it properly. I am returning the remaining cowl.
