Review: Easy to hold and very attractive - Love these glasses! A little heavier than I expected but ready for my aged hands to hold. I don't think they're real crystal but look like it. Buying some as holiday gifts.
Review: Needed to finish off my set - Already had the decantors, but felt like something was missing after visiting friend's house who had a nice matching bar set. Picked up these and the wine glasses, and regretted not doing it sooner. It's a nice inexpensive way to class up the bar a bit. Good solid weight, and dishwasher safe in my experience. Great purchase.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does anyone still have the box around to see the country of origin?**
A: My box says Made in China.

**Q: Are these lead free?**
A: No, they are not. There are some comments about lead in the ratings section, but if I recall correctly, they're some minimal amount (around 5%, which is lower than what you'll find in most European crystal products). You still shouldn't store the alcohol in them for the long-term, but long enough for drinks and washing? They should be good! (I love my set! Very attractive!)

**Q: Are the mold lines visible? And how about the cuts, do they look sharp or look like cheap molded ones?**
A: The nice thing is the mold lines are mostly hidden in the design in the longest “cut”. The cuts themselves are not as sharp as real cut crystal but for the price, these are a great deal. I have the wine glasses (many), the rocks glasses, the highball, and the fluted glasses. I intend to buy some replacements soon for the rocks and highball glasses since over the years, one or two have broken (not a common thing, but it happens).

A nice note: Many tv shows and movies use these glasses on their sets. I love picking them out in scenes as you can tell from the design. They look marvelous.

**Q: Gift wrapped or not..?**
A: No, they are not gift wrapped. But they come in their own box, 4 glasses per box, that are put inside a regular Amazon box.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to hold and very attractive

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needed to finish off my set

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice for the price.
*by C***O on September 15, 2016*

I purchase this set of 4 Godinger Dublin Old Fashioned Glasses because a set of 4 that my sister gave me as a gift set with a decanter had a glass with a chipped rim that we overlooked because we never used (just display). After one of a set of Reed and Barton chess theme DOF glasses that I used broke in the dishwasher and I couldn't find a replacement, I pulled out the set and decided to replace the chipped one and use them. The original set had a diamond shaped green sticker on them that said "Shannon Crystal" and these were a perfect match. This isn't heirloom quality cut crystal folks (they are molded, but the design is deep and looks good), and for presentable, decent, bar ware, they are perfect. They are MADE IN CHINA, so it seems even Irish Crystal is being outsourced. I wanted to use these for Old Fashioned cocktails and whiskey with ice spheres from my Tovolo molds and they work fine and are a decent price. The glasses are 10 oz filled to the top so they comfortably hold 8 to 9 ounces of liquid which allows a couple ounces of whiskey with ice to not look lost as it would in a giant 14 or 16 oz DOF glass. If you don't expect Mikasa Flame d'Amore cut crystal quality for under $5 a glass you'll probably appreciate these for being the presentable, good, serviceable bar ware they are. Saluti!
