There are steel skid plates on the bumper that always dragged and the skid wheels do seem to keep it off the ground a little better. They do not seem particularly sturdy though
Bought these to mount on a Class C RV that sits very low to the ground. We've camped a few times with them installed, and one wheel will wobble off center. They're working so far. Will update after long trip coming up.Update: Still working after 13,000 mike RV trip to Alaska, but center part of one wheel came out long ago.

Don't Bother!
I recently purchased a set of these wheels for my HitchHiker fifth wheel to help keep the Aft end from dragging. When I received the wheels they appear to be well made. Then I took a trip with these wheels installed and after a couple of uses the wheel on the door side of the trailer is pretty well shot. The center disk that holds the rim onto the bolt is completely gone, and the wheel rim just hangs on the bolt. Considering that I used the wheels exactly for what they were intended for, I am beyond disappointed. The wheels are made in China with metals that "in my opinion" will not withstand the weight of a heavy RV. I see that I am past the return date allowed by Amazon for this product, so I intend to pursue the "One Year Limited Warranty" with Ultra-Fab products.Updating this review: I contacted Ultra-Fab regarding a warranty replacement of the defective wheel above. They sent me a complete set of swivel wheels that seem to use the same wheels as the units I have. I increased my rating from one star to two as the company did follow through and send me a replacement. I don't know how long the replacements will last, but time will tell.

Well made
They mounted to my 5th wheel RV as intended to assist it into my driveway. I haven't yet used them yet but they appear to be of good quality and very heavy duty.

Wheels both shattered after less than 2 months.
These were easy to install and helped prevent the rear of my RV from dragging. The pair cost about $90, so I expected them to last for several years. Unfortunately they only lasted about 2 months before both wheels shattered. The wheels are made from cast metal, so I do not see how these would last more than a few hits.

Not very sturdy
I needed these wheels to protect my back end and frame. That it did but they only stayed together for one trip to and from Joshua Tree. The wheel fell off of the right side completely leaving just what used to hold the wheel. The left wheel is still on but the bearing broke. They still somewhat work but what's left makes an awful scrape noise. I expected this product to last me a cpl years at least seeing as I only take a cpl long trips a year. Very disappointed in the $80 I spent.

RV Side Wheels
I was looking for something to mount to my rear hitch tube, and this was the only size I found. It was a perfect fit. I have only needed to use them once since I installed them. Wheels even have a grease fitting.
