Deviant King: A Dark High School Bully Romance (Royal Elite)

This book was everything I wanted it to be plus more! I am in love with Aiden and he is 100% my new book boyfriend for the next few months. I am also in love with Elsa because she will not back down (my kind of women). I have heard of Rina Kent for awhile now and BookTok finally convinced to pick up one of her books. I have absolutely no regrets! Just Wow! Complete and utter astonishment. Like Rina you really have the audacity to come out here and be writing books that speak to my soul! How am I going to find a real life man now. None will ever compare to Aiden :'(Note: Please start to read this book during the day and not at 10PM like I did last night to only stay up till 3am. Each chapter feels like it leaves you on a cliffhanger and you cant help but keep going. Rina chose violence writing this book. I woke up this morning and pulled out my debit card so fast to buy the next two books to continue this story I thought to myself "even the Flash cant beat me to it" haha!

Deviant King was one of those books that will leave you in a tailspin wondering what in the world did you just flipping read!The Royal Elite series has become my new addiction. They all play a part in everyone's demise.When it comes to dark and sadistic reads, this is far from my first rodeo. I was completely enthralled to the blurb, but it was the prologue that sold me. Rina Kent lures you in like a siren with her writing, and once your snared in her trap, there is no going back.

But I need to qualify that so you don't read the first and get discouraged. In the beginning, say 50 pages, I got tired of the language, the too many words and too slow development and the grammar is just yuk. That does change after 50 pages, where it picks up at lightning speed. Maybe that odd stuff was a reflection of how the character thinks ? Anyway get past that before you judge. I am going to compare this to King by T M Frazer, only because the things I liked most about this series are somewhat the same and yet different. The shock value in King is absent here, though the circumstances of the characters are almost as depraved, the details are not spelled out in graphic detail. Author uses that depravity without going too far into unnecessary description. I loved King, read it twice. But I really didn't want to read such detail anymore, and this suits well. The characters circumstances are almost as brutal, but we are spared the gore. I can read gore, but not unless I choose to, and no excessive gore is here to take you by surprise. For me, as a reader, that was a nice discovery.

I made the mistake of starting it half an hour before work and lets just say was the worst mistake ever as i read 9% of it come work start time and i was dying for more even contemplated calling in sick lol so had to wait 8 hours for my shift to be over to get back into it and lets just say it was not pleasant lol. But once i got home i refused to put it down until i had finished it. I read Cruel King in Noble savages and i loved it so much i wanted more, so when i heard of this series i had to have it and the wait was so worth every second. Elsa is new and as soon as she enters the school she is warned to stay away from the Elite especially Aiden King, but Aiden has other ideas. Aidens first words to her are "I will destroy you". Ok so im not going to give anything away but if you love bully romance this is the book for you, keep in mind its a trilogy and this is just the first and lets just say it leaves you with a wtffffffffff but its so worth it . I devoured this book in a few hours and i loved it so much i reread it. I cannot wait for the next one , i also cant wait for all of this series to come on paperback so i can own them all. You dont have to read Cruel king to read this one but i do recommend it as it is just as good as this and you get to meet Aiden for the first time. BRING ON THE NEXT ONE !!!
