Review: Great book - Good Review: Uplifting, cute, romance, - This is my second romance manga, I've only just started to read manga, a change from watching anime. The first romance manga I read was "I want to eat your pancreas" a really amazing manga but with a sad side, I wanted a change, a more uplifting read, and this manga seems to be the one for me, I've finished the first part of like 3 parts? In this one manga, I've just ordered the 2nd volume, I highly recommend this if you like romance, apparently it's been a bit of a challenge for the publisher or writer to make this, especially trying to incorporate sign language into a manga, but I must say I'm very impressed and humbled by it, I struggle to read normal books, and so comics and manga are a new experience for me, and It seems to be easier and more enjoyable at the moment! I really am a fan of this manga, even though I struggle to read and become interested in books at all, this manga has captured my heart, 10/10 for being just beautiful and perfect!

Great story
EDIT: canceled the return in the end as another friend was interested in it and didn't mind the issue, she seems super happy with it. I bought the manga since I thought it would be a cute gift, however had to return due to unfortunate print formatting. The quality and feel of the pages is great(i even appreciated the colored glossy image on the first pages), however for some reason the covers don't actually reach all the way to the edge of the actually pages(the cover is like 1mm shorter than them). This might not bother others and probably wouldnt affect most people's ability to enjoy reading it, but I am super specific about details such as this and so is the person who I intended this for. Thus why I'm returning it and finding something else(i looked up pictures of the volume online and this issue seems to be present on a lot of them, so its either intended to be that way or its a common problem). The reason I gave it 4 starts is because I didnt personally read it so i cant actually rate it and in my opinion if the covers being smaller by a millimeter on one side is not an issue for you, you should give it a try. I have heard good things about the story and the art does seem great, so it will probably be worth it checking out considering the high praises its getting. I had no other issues with the physical quality or delivery of the book

Itsuomi and Yuki's story starts to develop, their lives so different but so alike. While she being deaf sees herself sometimes caged in this tiny little world, Itsumoi is a traveled person who goes out of the country to find out more about other cultures. Although it is like this, Itsuomi's sees Yuki's world as being a vast incredible one, and also can't help thinking she is cute. Yuki falls hard for him, they form a partnership that will probably face a lot of obstacles but with their understanding of each other and soft aura around them, I believe they will succeed. The art style is cute and wholesome, matching the vibe of the story perfectly. Hopefully, I can read the second volume fast! Also, the author took the time to give us some information about sign language in japan which I think it's informative and so important!

This is such a wonderful look at the day-to-day life of a college girl who happens to be deaf. Yuki is just adorable. So cute, & such a sweet girl. Itsuomi is quite handsome, & he seems like a really nice guy. I really enjoyed reading this. I had a deaf friend when I was a child. He could read lips, just like Yuki. I learned quickly to always face him when talking to him, & to say my words slowly, steadily, & with full pronunciations. No slang or slurred words! I always felt bad for him. He didn't have very many friends. Most of the other kids in the neighborhood either thought he was strange, or they made fun of him. I got in quite a numberof fights with other boys who made fun of my friend. It used to make me so mad! He was actually a really cool kid. It was sad no one wanted to give him a chance. If his family hadn't moved to NYC (from Spokane, Washington), I'm sure I'd still be his friend. So I can somewhat understand the trials that Yukingoes through. Not everyone is as patient & under standing as Itsuomi or her friend Rin. Her childhood friend is quite overprotective of Yuki. It's obvious he is holding a candle for her. I wonder how she feels about that? Or does she even know? I look forward to reading the next volume of this series!

Kudos to the author for the art style of this manga. The panels are so beautiful and the characters are so well crafted and they each possess unique qualities. I also love the way the mangaka takes the time to illustrate the characters and their attempt of sign language. Great story. The only thing I hope will happen is for the MC to focus on herself and not chase Itsuomi all the time. While I understand that she’s drawn to him, I haven’t seen her once focus on herself. It’s like her whole world revolves around him.
