A very good cooking ingredient
I have a favourite recipe, which uses stem ginger balls in syrup. The recipe calls for a number of balls, and so much syrup. The syrup always runs out before the balls, so I needed to use more syrup to avoid wasting the ginger. This is ideal for replenishing the jar when that happens. I just top the jar up, and the ginger infuses yet more flavour to the syrup. It lasts for ages too.

Delicious fresh alternative to syrup for your coffee or drinks. Great taste for tea and cooking as well. Use after refrigeration to keep longer. Great for other uses such as fragrance for hair rinse.
