We were having issues with our dogs getting into the small bathroom trash cans. The only way to prevent either of them getting into it was to put the trash can on the counter (gross!) or to keep the bathroom door closed (someone always forgot to shut it!).Luckily I found this trash can and what a blessing! Our dogs can't get into it so no trash drug about the house. Two unexpected things I love about this can: 1) It came with its own bags! 🥳 and 2) It holds a lot, surprisingly! The bags are easy to change and they also stay in place thanks to the small 'grabber' holes on the side that I can push the bag into. This trash can sits low to the floor, much like the small cans meant for bedrooms and bathrooms, so it easily fits in between the toilet and the wall, and that convenient 'pop top' that opens and closes with a slight push of the finger.If you're looking for a trash can that hides your trash from your pets or from guests having to see (and smell 🤭) your trash in the bathroom, then look no further! This can will do just that! The fact that it fits into small spaces and is sturdy are just added benefits of this great can!

This little trash can is perfect for the bathroom; its cleverly designed and it really works to keep the dog out of the trash can. My dog is very clever and figured out how to push down on the pedal with his paw to open the top of the old trash can in our bathroom. The only solution was to remember to close the bathroom door which I continually forgot to do. Then the dog would get into the trash, make a mess and I was the one who got yelled at for leaving the door open. The dog didn’t get yelled at because he was just being a dog and couldn’t help it. I found this dog-proof trash can on Amazon and it really works. I bought one a few weeks ago for the main bathroom and just bought another for our other bathroom. My Labradoodle, Sydney, is very frustrated because he can no longer have a party with the garbage in the bathroom trash can, and I’m happy because my wife is no longer getting angry at me for leaving the bathroom door open.

I have never submitted a review before. I spent what I consider to be a lot of money on 3 of these trash cans. The idea that there was a top you could pop open and close was so appealing. When they arrived, one of them was broken, but I was able to fix it and was so happy to begin using them. I now realize that the issue I encountered upon arrival is a design flaw. First, the black “clip” that is supposed the click the garbage can shut, shifts every time you open the lid and then you cannot shut the lid unless you pull up on the black clip and reposition it. Second, the silver “hinge” on the back of the lid is constantly popping out of place on one side and you need to realign the lid and use something to “push” the hinge through to the other side. I’m so sad because I spent 40 dollars on each garbage can and they are such a GREAT design, but the quality is so cheap and flimsy they take more work to use them than just to get rid of them. I really wanted to love them because they are sleek-looking and keep trash out-of-sight/smell, but all 3 are constantly breaking and I’m having to fix them. This tells me it’s a manufacturing issue with all of the cans and not just an isolated incident with just one.

We purchased this to dispose of used dog poop bags. We live in a condo complex and don't always want to walk to the trash dumpsters to dispose of dog poop. so we bought this for a spot on our porch.We tie our used bags off, and dump them in this on the way into the house. It looks clean and neat, we have no odor or fly issues. It's not the sturdiest built thing you'll ever purchase, but that's reflected in the pricepoint for this item. All in all, it's working great for the purpose we purchased it for, and if this one dies in a year or so would purchase another - it's cheap enough a yearly replacement is no financial hardship.

I found this product on a tiktok video of best Amazon finds and loved the sleek look and had to try it out. I purchased it right away and I am beyond happy with this buy. I have a small bathroom with limited space so I was worried it wouldn't fit where I had my current trash can, but it did. It was perfect everything. It even came with two small rolls of trash bags. I definitely recommend this trash product.I’m actually a week or two into having this product and today (3/22/22) I noticed the lid came off the hinge. I was able to get it back in but not long after someone used the restroom and went to throw their trash away and it came off again. When I tried putting it back on I noticed the hinge was broken. I’m going to attempt a replacement or refund but I’m kind of sad bc I had liked this trash can a lot. I felt like it gave such a nicer look by concealing the garbage and the overall appearance.

It is not much quality, but it does the job.

I purchased this because it was advertised as pet-proof. Our dog immediately figured out how to open it. I had this van for about 8 months before our dog finally broke it. I had to turn it to face the wall to keep him out most of the time, but he still got in there once a week or so and today he finally snapped the lid and I will have to find a new solution.My other feedback is that the latch is rather sensitive and I had to mess with it to keep it working properly. They even sent a second latch with the unit, so I'm guessing it breaks often.I do love the size of the can and amount of trash it can hold. Just wish it was more durable and actually kept the dog out.
