Hi, this is a MG 1/100 scale (Master Grade) we would recommend 15y or above, for younger age you could try EG (Entry grade) These are mainly snap off and don't require nippers to cut them off the runners. No Glue is required and all fit together easily. For slight more challenge could try HG 1/144 scale (High Grade), these are more advanced and would require nippers or clippers to detach the parts from runners. All the models come with pictured instructions that are easy to follow, please note not all instructions will be in English but they should be easy to follow,
