Product Description What makes Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves Unique? While other compression leg sleeves feature flat fabric that provide only compression, Zensah’s Compression Leg Sleeves feature chevron ribbing on the front of the leg sleeves (v-shaped pattern). This provides direct support to the shin area, similar to the way athletic tape would provide shin splint relief. The leg sleeves also feature micro-ribbing the back of the leg sleeves to provide direct calf support to reduce cramping and fatigue. .com Innovative training gear maker Zensah has developed a series of high-performance compression clothing using a proprietary knitting process and materials. The company's leg sleeves are stitched using Pin-Point Compression, gradient pressure developed by a professional athletic trainer that uses wide ribbing in the front for optimal shin support, and snug ribbing in the back for calf support. Silver ions in the unique Zensah Fabric helps regulate skin temperature and fight bacteria to keep your sleeves fresh. Particularly useful for runners, cyclists, and triathletes, these compression sleeves increase blood flow to the muscles of the lower leg, circulating oxygen into your muscles in order to reduce fatigue during, and speed recovery following, your workouts. Sizing XS/S: Calf size (circumference) 9.5-to-12.5 inches S/M: Calf size 12.5-to-15 inches L/XL: Calf size 15 inches and up About Compression Graduated compression features the greatest amount of compression in the part of the garment farthest away from the heart, and the least amount compression in the part closest to the heart (for example, socks have more compression in the ankle and less in the calf). With graduated compression, veins' cross sectional area is decreased and a pressure gradient is created, which leads to physiological benefits including: Enhanced blood circulation as a result of improved venous return Deoxygenated blood goes back to the heart faster, which in turn helps improve blood flow of oxygen-rich blood back to the body Faster recovery following strenuous exercise and improved performance, by aiding in the removal of blood lactate Reduced blood lactate concentration during maximal exercise bouts, allowing for an increased lactic threshold for improved performance Enhanced warm-up via increases in skin temperature Reduced muscle oscillation and vibration upon ground contact, providing stability to the muscle to help prevent micro-trauma, making for a faster and easier recovery Reduced effects of delayed onset muscle soreness in the days following strenuous exercise through alleviating swelling and inflammation Increased muscle support, which increases performance through improved muscle efficiency Improved leg power and vertical jump through enhanced proprioception Studies have shown that those that have gained most by wearing compression are those transitioning from an inactive to active lifestyle. Older populations have experienced great benefits from use of compression socks and sleeves. Amateur athletes may see physiological improvements through using compression. About Zensah Based on the Italian word "senza," meaning "to be without," Zensah was created to help athletes at all levels improve their performance by utilizing unique, seamless sportswear designed to enhance performance and speed recovery. The company's innovative seamless design consists of a breathable, moisture-wicking fabric that draws sweat away from the body, allowing the garment and athlete to stay cool, dry, and light.

They feel like a second skin
I've only had these a week but I already ordered another pair. I saw they were $7 cheaper than last week and went ahead and ordered. I love them. I am 5'6 and my calves are 15 inches, alot of which is muscle. These fit really well (s/m). I wear them as much as possible, sometimes when just out shopping under my jeans. I can't explain it but they just make me feel like I have more endurance. They make me feel better. It's almost like the feeling of a weighted blanket on my calves. It's a nice feeling. As for exercising, I am just a regular person trying to do more. The last several years I have had awful shin splints and numb feet from brisk walking, usually about an hour. I'm hoping these will help with that along with new shoes. In the mean time I have tried them jump roping on my basement floor and walking and doing intervals on my treadmill. Yes my legs ache a little still but overall there has been no soreness the next day. I am going to keep trying them in different scenarios like the physical night at karate I have coming up. I will update my review and star rating if need be. My 2nd pair are coming today so I feel like I can wash these and not be without them. Also, they don't stink yet. And they don't feel sloppy wet when I take them off. Very nice.

Best sleeves out there
I love these compression sleeves. They (size small/medium) fit me perfectly, I'm 5'2" and 120lbs. Most compression sleeves are too long and bunch up in the.crease behind my knee. Not Zensah 😊I use them for running, wearing them for any run over 10miles. I've got varicose veins and with these on I have no pain. My husband wears them for cycling. He tends to get calf cramps and so far, wearing these sleeves work great for him too! Btw...he wears same size (sm/med) he's 5'4" and 155lbs.The material is worth mentioning too! Very soft to the touch. Other brands feel almost rough, but these feel smooth and comfortable. I'm able to comfortably wear them all day after a long run to help with recovery.Best sleeves I've found! I've purchased 3 pair and will probably pick up another couple colors 😊

Helps my shin splints
I just bought my second pair of these compression sleeves to treat shin splints. I’m training for my fourth marathon and have the beginning pains of shin splints due to starting new shoes during a high mileage week. I use these during runs & throughout the day to provide relief. My legs feel much better and I have still been able to continue running (although stepping back the intensity) thanks to their aid. These are sturdy and have held up for many washes without losing their compression. I own one pair of full compression socks and loathe struggling to put them on (it takes me almost two minutes a sock, it’s pitiful). I love that these sleeves slide on easily and comfort my legs as I heal. I’m 5”5, 127 lbs with average size calves and I wear a S/M.

Shin Splints turned Stress Fracture -
What I love about these is the color :) This is my first pair of compression sleeves so I didn't really know what to expect. I purchased these to ease the pain of some shin splints. Sadly, my "shin splints" were actually a stress fracture. I've been off my feet for more than a month now. However, I will say in the time or two that I used these, my "good leg" was feeling better with the compression sleeve on. I can't wait to give them a honest try...still a few more weeks to go. I'll be sure to update my review.I am 5'1 and these were a tad long on me - but that's expected as most things are. I did measure my calf for appropriate sizing. These are snug, as they should be, but not too tight. My calf is dead on 13.5 inches. I can see these fitting well up to an inch different in size either way.

Love Zensah but not sure what’s going on with these
I have several pair of Zensah compression leg sleeves that I’ve purchased from my local running store. I wanted to try a smaller size to get a bit more compression so I ordered the XS/S in Christmas Paper design. I just received them and they’re a bit odd - they don’t feel like the same high-quality material as my other pairs, and they don’t seem to be doing any compressing. Which is esp weird since they’re a size smaller than my others, which are S/M. So I’m returning them and I guess I’ll be going back to my local running store - maybe it’s just this one pattern that’s weird, or maybe their quality has gone down since the ones I purchased a few years ago? But they used to be great.

Server/Hospital Intern Approved!
I spend over 50 hours on my feet each week so I gave these a shot. After using them for a solid weekend, I did not have the usual end of shift tired achiness in my legs! :) What further impressed me was how they didn't feel too hot under my work jeans in a humid restaurant or outside in 70 degree weather. My calf measures 15.75in and the sm/md fit very well AFTER a few hours of wear. At first I had my doubts about sizing down, being inbetween sizes. Getting them on the first time was harder than the second time, as they do stretch out just a bit. The graduated compression is perfect. They aren't too tight around the ankle or below the knee. Overall a high quality product. I ordered 2 more pairs already so I'll have a weeks worth of clean leg sleeves. Not sure how well they wash but I will edit my review if they do anything funky after washing.

This is my third pair. I was tired of black compression sleeves so tried a Zensha Neon Yellow sleeve and all of my cycling and rock climbing friends liked them. They are just snug enough to keep my calf muscles from hurting after a long ride or hard climb. My calves measure just under 15 inches so I ordered the small/medium - Often I wear them 24 hours a day with absolutely no problems with ankle swelling as some have reported and they stay in place. Will come back for more colors soon.

but enough to take the edge off my enjoyment. I found immediate benefit from the leg sleeves ...
Exceeded all my expectations. Since taking up running again 18 months ago after a break of many years, I suffered from continual calf aches - not enough to prevent me from running, but enough to take the edge off my enjoyment. I found immediate benefit from the leg sleeves with aches whilst running being reduced by about 90% from first wearing and aches when walking almost entirely gone. Now after three weeks wearing I feel much more confident in my running and my training times have improved as a result. A brilliant product!

Awesome! No shin splints!!!
I've suffered with bad shin splint for 15 years - to the point that any fast walking would trigger them, let alone running. I tried Physiotherapy, ultrasound treatment, massage, insoles and a variety of running shoes - no luck. Since the day I began wearing these sleeves - no shin splints. At all. Shocked doesn't cover it! Such a simple thing. I've now begun taking part in 5k races and I'm building up to a half marathon next year. Well worth the money and I will definitely buy them again when this pair wears out.

Eased mild shin splints and helped recovery post run
After reading many mixed reviews, I had an open mind on what to expect. Wow they work for me. Suffered with intermittent mild shin splints, these have massively eased the discomfort. I have worn them during a run and after for recovery. Don't think I've felt much benefit during my run. But I believe they have helped with recovery when wearing them after.

Best investment ever
These are amazing, I was wondering if they would actually work but they cleared my shin splits right up and if I forget to wear them out for a run I do feel the difference. Can't live without these now!

Hole in side seam first time of wearing.
Poor quality manufacture. These leg sleeves developed a hole in the side seam the first time I wore them. I bough S/M for a15 " calf following the sizing guidelines.Comfortable but ineffective as they fell apart.
