Excelente producto, no pensé que fuera tan bueno el rendimiento, la escritura y lectura por el chip y el protocolo uasp es mayor que otros docks , se ve y se siente de excelente calidad, uno de los contras que no afecta tanto es el tamaño de los led , no se ven de cierto ángulos y no se distingue, y la otra es que no puede clonar en modo independiente de un disco de mayor capacidad a uno de menor, así sean algunos gb de diferencia, quizá algún día exista algún modelo que ajuste las particiones, aún así es una excelente compra.

There are several units that have the same functions available on Amazon from several makers. I own at least one of almost every unit made. Of all the units currently available at the time of this review, this one has the best build quality for the price. I have both single bay units and dual bay units. This unit and several similar two bay units offer offline hard drive cloning. I do clone a lot of hard drives at work but I have never tried it without the use of a computer and software. In most cases I am cloning the mechanical hard drive that is in a PC to an SSD to upgrade it. The offline cloning function requires the target drive to be of equal or higher capacity than the source drive. With the proper software you can clone everything from a larger capacity source drive to a smaller capacity target drive. As long as the data on the source drive will fit on the target drive. it can be cloned and be a bootable OS drive. I've use software to clone the OS from 2 TB HDDs to 1TB SSDs and from 1TB HDDs to 500GB SSDs. Of course this unit can be used as a docking bay for the target drive during the process but so can a single bay docking station. I use this model and others with a single bay or dual bays for the target drive. There are reviewers who have successfully used this unit and similar two bay docking stations for offline cloning. It's not a method I use. Even without using the offline cloning function, these units have a lot of uses. I've never used any make / model that didn't work correctly for my needs and this one works great. I see various reviews noting data transfer speeds as great to poor. This issue is more a factor of the read / write speed of the drive itself and your USB 3.0 versus 3.1 speed than an issue with the dock. I can assure you if you are using a modern SSD and USB 3.1 standard, this dock it can easily reach or surpass the advertised read and write speeds. Keep in mind when reading all the claims of speed or lack of speed there are mechanical hard drives on the market that can't reach USB 3.1 speeds even when connected by SATA. They are not going to magically speed up over USB regardless of the dock's capabilities.

This worked for a few weeks before I lost data on two hard drives with this. Just like someone else mentioned, it turned the drives to raw mode and all the data was lost.
