Bright, durable, and waterproof—but install takes some effort

On the downside, installation can take a little time if you’re not familiar with trailer wiring. After being a boat owner for 46 years who trailers to the water, one thing is clear: You don't want incandescent trailer lights that fill with water and pop when you launch! Good value - good performance!
At early use these lights do as they are supposed to - nice and bright and work well. The install wasn't perfect as the wires come out the centre so you must drill a 1/2 inch hole in your mounting bracket to install. Then the bolts base doesn't sit flat with the back of the light so you must either drill holes much larger than the bolts or use some sort of spacer on the bracket to keep the back of the light from sitting directly against the mounting bracket. - not a huge problem, but not perfect by any means.
