This is a replacement remote head key fob that will work and function just like the original one. We test every single remote before we send it to make sure it is transmitting. PROGRAMMING: A website link to free DIY programming instructions will be provided with every order for the REMOTE portion only. In order to perform the DIY programming for the remote, you need to have 2 working original keys that starts your vehicle. If you don't have 2 original keys then you will need to take this key to an automotive locksmith or dealership to get programmed. We include free programming instructions for the remote portion of the key ONLY. You will need to take this key to get and and programmed by a locksmith or dealership in order for it to start the engine. COMPATIBILTY: (your vehicle must already be equipped with keyless entry for the remote to work) Please make sure that your original key has the same number of buttons. Original remote FCC ID number must be either 1J0 959 753 F or 1J0 959 753 T in order for this remote key to work. This remote key will not work if your vehicle never used a flip key.
