When they arrived, I wondered about the buckle - why out such a cheaply made, rough edged buckle right up against pristine colored leather? It is going to scratch the leather, right? Well, on my fifth day wearing these, the buckle BROKE. After scratching up the strap. Now I have to pack these off to the cobbler and hope for the best. Lame. These were not cheap!

I have only worn twice so far. They are comfortable. I like the idea of a closed toe sandal look for church and other events that should have a bit more modest choice of apparel. These were exactly what I was looking for. The only thing that was not perfect was the buckle had a small defect where it fit into the strap. When I realized what was going on, it was a quick fix, and then didn't have a problem the next time I worn them. I love the blue leather.

I have never spent so much on a pair of shoes in my life, but I had to have these. It was money well spent, my feet have never looked so good. I smile everytime I look down at my cheerily clogged feet. I wasn't expecting much in the way of comfort, but I feel like I could walk all day in these. I wear a solid 9, and the 39 fits perfectly. My feet do lean slightly towards the wide side, and while there is a bit of tightness on the outside of my feet, my toes are perfectly happy. I am confident that once the leather is broken in, these will be the most comfortable shoes I own. I am so pleased with these, I have already ordered (and received) them in another color. And something tells me they won't be my last. Buy them. Before I do.

When I first rec'd my shoes they were just a bit tight around the scalloped edge. I read the recommendations and wore them around the house a bit. The leather is starting to soften. Wore them for the whole day to work and the were fine. I get so many compliments.

I have been a faithful Dansco girl since nursing school but now these are making it a close race. They are super comfy and well made and lovely color. I return the first pair I got of this brand and was reluctant to try again but I love the midnight blue color of these and I'm so glad I did try them again 😌

Loved that they seem very well-made. Got the purple color which is a rich eggplant in person. Loved it. I also have bunions and these didn't hurt my weirdly shaped feet. The only things I didn't like was 1: the sole is solid wood and I just couldn't get used to the unforgiving foot bed while walking around. 2: the suede is really finicky and if even a drop of water gets on them, it leaves a discoloration. Luckily I had a rubber suede cleaning brush and it buffed out no problem, but you will need one of those brushes to keep them looking nice.

I (really) did not like that all was going well until I suddenly was given a limit and was never given a limit before; no reason, no warning. I have always used P.W. w/ o a limit and ordered 90% of items(?) please answer as I got no answer when we spoke !

These are very nice looking and great quality. Leather is very good quality and the cutout/scallop gave them a fun detail. I did end up returning but only because I didn't think I would get enough use out of them for the price. They just did not match a lot of the outfits I wear. If you would wear then often they are worth every penny!
