First Team (New Kid, 2)

I bought this book on my kindle based on the reputation of Tim Green as an author. I am a "young" Senior Citizen and never realized the book was suggested for those who are 8 to 10 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the development of the characters therein. The plot was great: It has intrigue, football, young romance, a few surprises, and a feel good ending. Everyone should read it!!

Really enjoyed this book. Not a “young reader”, but like the way Tim writes. Recommend this book to readers of all ages.

My grandson was so excited to get this book. He loves the series!

I am disappointed in the quality of the paper in the book. It is greyish in color and the print appears to be slightly blurred and hard to read. I normally can read a book without reading glasses but I had to put mine on to continue reading. My grandson likes Mr. Green's books and I enjoy reading to him. I normally just read from my computer but I did not this time thinking it would be nice to read a book and give it to him as a present. I do not think I will purchase any more books instead just reading from a computer.

If you are looking for a book to get your kid hooked on reading, this is the one. My son who loves football has started reading from these and is hooked!!

This book is filled with action and suspense. Right at the beginning it starts off with action. This was a book that was very hard to put down. It is a great book for kids who love sports. I would highly recommend this book.

This book is so good but you need to read the first book in the series called new kid. 😁
